Season’s Greetings
Hi, everyone! Kelli here today I have another sparkly holiday card to share with you! I started off with a piece of dark blue card stock and die cut it with the My Favorite Things – Falling Snowflakes die. You also get all the little snowflake pieces that you can use as confetti in the card or as accents on the card itself. To get the gold spots on the front I used the Heidi Swapp – Gold Lame Color Shine Spritz. Instead of spraying it from the bottle I unscrewed the cap and then tapped some of the liquid off of the sprayer tube that was in the bottle. This gives more of a spotted look rather than an even misting.
I backed the snowflakes with a piece of sparkly silver card stock from my stash. I am loving sparkles, gold, and silver this season!
I tied some Candy Red Baker’s Twine around the blue and silver card stock and then mounted that whole piece onto a red piece with some dimensional adhesive. I adhered the red piece directly to the white card base and then added some white gel pen stitch lines around the border.
To finish everything off I added a sentiment from the My Favorite Things – Starry Christmas stamp set. I’ve said it before, but I really love the images and variety of sentiments you get in this set!
That’s all for this sparkly card! I really think this layout and color scheme would work well for the 4th of July, too! I’ll have to keep that in mind for next year. 😉
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
