Hello, everybody! It’s time for Challenge #33. Today we have an exciting sponsor for you… INKY IMPRESSIONS!
If you aren’t familiar with them, here’s a little info for you.
We are a young Rubber Stamp Company that offers some of the cutest children & animal stamps on the market today! Each and every stamp made is “Extra Deep Etched” on Quality Red Rubber for a crisp impression everytime! All our stamps are made right here in the USA!
Now, onto the challenge!
THE CHALLENGE: Boo to You
Create a Halloween themed project using your Copics and/or ShinHan markers!
You may play along with other challenges, but excessive challenge pile-ons (more than 10) will result in disqualification for our amazing prize. As always, have fun creating!
THE PRIZE: Sponsored by Inky Impressions! – $10 towards your purchase at the Inky Impressions store!
One entry will be chosen at random to receive our prize. Three additional entries will be chosen for the Top 3 based on their amazing coloring skills. The prize winner and top three can all proudly post their brag buttons on their blogs for the world to see!
Entries are due by Sunday, November 3rd 2013 at noon EST. Winner will have TWO weeks to claim their prize.
We are continuing our comments contest as well. Leave a comment on one or more blog posts between now and when our challenge winners are announced for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate!
For my project I used the adorable Inky Impressions – Angelica Raking digi stamp. I printed her out on X-Press IT Blending Paper and colored her with Copics:
skin- E55, E53, E51, E50, R20 (cheeks)
hair- E29, E27, E25, E23
outfit- BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11
boots- C9, C7, C6, C5, C4
rake- E37, E35, W3, W2, W1
pumpkins- YR18, YR16, YR15, YR14, YR12
leaves- E35, G24, G21
I airbrushed the sky with BG02 and BG01.
This was a larger image so I decided to make a 5.5″ x 5.5″ card and keep it really simple. The patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn – Into the Woods 6×6 paper pad. I added an orange ribbon and tied it into a bow and then added a button with some Key Lime baker’s twine.
I finished everything off with some white gel pen stitch lines and a ‘happy halloween’ sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
We can’t wait to see what you come up with for this ‘Boo to You’ challenge! 🙂
