MarkerPOP! Challenge #37
Hello, everybody! It’s time for Challenge #37. We are so glad to be back and can’t wait to see what you create! There’s also an awesome prize package up for grabs!
THE CHALLENGE: Anything Goes
Create a project using your Copics, ShinHans or any other marker that we carry!
You may play along with other challenges, but excessive challenge pile-ons (more than 10) will result in disqualification for our amazing prize. As always, have fun creating!
THE PRIZE: 1 Copic Ciao Doodle 4 Pack, 2 Copic Blending Card Paper Packs (4.25″ x 5.5″), 1 Crafter’s Companion Adhesive Runner
One entry will be chosen at random to receive our prize. Three additional entries will be chosen for the ‘Top 3’ based on their amazing coloring skills. The prize winner and top three can all proudly post their brag buttons on their blogs for the world to see!
Entries are due by Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 at noon EST. Winner will have TWO weeks to claim their prize.
We are continuing our comments contest as well. Leave a comment on one or more blog posts between now and when our challenge winners are announced for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate!
For my project I used one of the stamps from The Greeting Farm – Miss Anya Night Out set. She is stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It – Blending Card Paper and colored with Copics:
Hair – E29, E27, E25, E23, E21
Skin – E13, E53, E51, E50, R20 for Cheeks
Dress – B99, B97, B95, B93
Earrings and Purse – E39, E37, E35, E32
I cut her out and ran my Memento – Tuxedo Black marker along the white core so that it gave it a more finished look.
All the patterned paper is from the Echo Park – Beautiful Life 6×6 paper pad and I adhered them all to the card using the Crafter’s Companion – Extra Strong Adhesive Runner. For the sentiment I used the Tiddly Inks – Flying High stamp set and heat embossed it in white onto a piece of patterned paper.
I added a little bit of twine around the center and some gemstones around the main image for some more detail.
To finish everything off I added some Glossy Accents to her purse and earrings.
Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
We can’t wait to see what you come up with for this ‘Anything Goes’ challenge! 🙂

I’ve been enjoying looking at all the card here… Such a talented bunch of people!! I’m not sure why a comment has appeared when I posted my cards to the gallery though… That’s a bit strange.. I’ll have to see if it does the same thing next month. Plus I love your card Kelli, i love the simple layout as it doesn’t detract from your gorgeous image and coloring.
