MarkerPOP! Challenge #50

Hello, everybody!  It’s time for Challenge #50.

THE CHALLENGE:  Purples
Create a project showcasing some PURPLES using your Copics, ShinHans or any other marker that we carry!

You may play along with other challenges, but excessive challenge pile-ons (more than 10) will result in disqualification for our amazing prize. As always, have fun creating!

One entry will be chosen at random to receive our prize. Three additional entries will be chosen for the ‘Top 3’ based on their amazing coloring skills. The prize winner and top three can all proudly post their brag buttons on their blogs for the world to see!
Entries are due by Sunday, August 31st, 2014 at noon EST.  Winner will have TWO weeks to claim their prize.
International winners will be responsible for shipping costs if they choose to claim their prize.

Valerie created this adorably purple project using the Mama Elephant – Cosmic stars stamp set for the main images.  She stamped them in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Paper and colored them with Copics:
Pisces – G40, G43, G46 / B04, B05, B06
Scorpio – V01, V05, V06, V09
Aries – E50, E3 / YR21, YR23, YR24 / R22, R24, R29
Birthday Hats – Y00, Y06, Y08 / YR04, YR09

The pretty inked background was created using the Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Dusty Concord, Stormy Sky, and Picked Raspberry.  She blended them all together using the Ranger – Ink Blending Tool onto some Bazzill – White Classic Smooth Paper.  The stars are from the Memory Box – Cosmic Stars die set.

The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn – So Much to Say stamp set.  Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner.

To finish everything off she added some Pretty Pink Posh – 4mm Clear Sequins and some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear for some added sparkle.
