Bee Mine
Hi, everyone! Kelli here today to share another Valentine’s Day card with you! The bee and sentiment are from the Paper Smooches – Bee Mine stamp set. I stamped the bee in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It – Blending Paper and colored him with Copics:
Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11
B01, B00, B0000
I cut out the bee with the coordinating Paper Smooches – Bee Mine die set. The sun is from the Paper Smooches – Spectrum stamp set and cut out using the Spectrum die set.
The blue, green, and yellow patterned papers are from the Avery Elle – The Everyday 6×6 paper pad. To make the hills I cut the green patterned paper with the Lawn Fawn – Stitched Hillside Borders die set. The blue background was cut out using a die from the Lawn Fawn – Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set. The hearts were cut out using the Lawn Fawn – Hearts die set from some patterned paper from the Doodlebug – Kraft in Color (Color) 6×6 paper pad.
The card base is a Lawn Fawn – Cranberry Woodgrain Notecard.
Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.
To finish everything off I added some Lawn Fawn – Orchid Hemp Twine and tied it into a bow. Then for some added sparkle there’s some Wink of Stella – Glitter Pen in Clear on the bee’s wings and hearts and Glossy Accents on the eyes, wings, and hearts.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
