And so the winner  (chosen at random) is . . .16. Kathy Curry !

Kathy colored in some fuzzy teddy bear fur for her challenge project. Look at the wonderful texture she created:

Rain or Shine Umbrella Card

Written by Samantha Peyton. Posted in Uncategorized

Hello everyone! Samantha here, bringing you a rainy day card.

Here it is:

This adorable girl image is a stamp from Stampavie called Under My Umbrella.

I colored her in using the following Copic colors:
C1, C3, YR82, YG25, Y15, Y18, Y19, RV10, RV23, RV29, B000, E000, E00, E02, E33, E35 E37, E39, E53, E55, B93, B95.

The sentiment and raindrop background are both stamps from the SP and Company Rain Boots stamp set. The sentiment is actually a straight sentiment, but because SP and Company stamps are clear photopolymer, they can be bent beautifully like shown on this card!

I added a little doodle using my Copic Multiliner SP to accentuate the sentiment.

That’s all I have to share with you today! Don’t forget to play along with the iCopic Weekly challenge, which ends tomorrow. I look forward to seeing what you create for the fur challenge.

Sweet Milton ~

Hiya there, iCopic friends!  Alyssa here with another little sweetie from the Wild Rose Studio line of stamps.  I seriously think that these little guys are my new favorites!  Each little character is so darling!  Just wait till you get to meet Pickle!
Since the iCopic Weekly Challenge #42 is coloring fur, I have a little Milton with Sunflower ditty for you.  When I saw that little sunflower, I just knew I had to pop it up on some dimensionals.  Milton is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with {a lot} of Copics!  Seriously, I have a bloggy friend that always teases me about the copious amounts of markers I use for one image! lol  He looked a little plain all colored up, so I doodled in some grassy ground, flowers and little butterflies.

Again, blogger doesn’t like my photos and makes them appear blurry…if you click on the photo, it will open in another window and will not be blurry.  Argh…
iCopic is now carrying some fabulous new 6×6 paper pads!  You can go here to view the entire selection.  The polka dot paper on the large panel is from the new Authentique Blissful collection.  I just got it in the mail yesterday!  It worked perfectly with my image…if you look really closely, the melon-y color is actually surrounding a few of the dots!  How serendipitous!
Lastly, I stamped a banner from Lawn Fawn’s Bannerific clear set in Versafine Onyx Black on vellum along with the sentiment (from my stash) and embossed it with clear detail embossing powder.  I then fussy cut it out and mounted it on dimensional foam tape over the base of the image.
You have until Sunday, August 14th, at noon PST to join in the challenge!  Not only do you have a chance at a wonderful prize, you may be featured right here on the iCopic lover blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!  :o) lyss
COPICS {E27, E29, E37, R02, R24, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, YG17, YG23, YG25, Y15, Y35, Y38, YR12}

Sending extra love your way. (Wavy Hair)

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  I hope you’re all having a great week!  For today I have a card that uses the Wild Rose Studio Stamp – Mia Reading, which I stamped in MementoTuxedo Black Ink.

The patterned part of her hair bow, dress, stocking and background layer were all done using the same sheet of paper from the Wild Rose Studio 6×6 Pad – Faded Florals.  iCopic’s 6×6 paper selection is really growing, which I’m extremely excited about because 6×6 is my favorite size to work with, especially for cards!  Click here to check out the selection!
On the parts that I paper pieced I shadowed with a little R24 and R22 just give some added depth.  What I really wanted to emphasize in this project was her blonde, wavy hair.  I haven’t really done distinct waves on a project yet, so I thought it would be fun to try it out.  I used Copics: E31, Y35, Y21, Y11 and Y000.  For her skin I used: YR00, E00, E000 and R20 for her cheeks.  For the accents on her dress I used: BG15, BG13 and BG11.  For the adorable little kitty I used C5, N0 and R20 for the inside of his ears.  The light blue accents on the books were done with B32, B21 and B0000.  And, as always, 0 (Colorless Blender) for any little spots where I colored out of the lines.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  🙂
