Oh What Fun…

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Videos

Hi everyone it’s Holly here and today I have a fun card with a little movement! I’m using the fun set from Avery Elle called Oh What Fun.

mp2

I stamped the Santa image onto a piece of white card stock using some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored him in with Copics. There’s also some Gold & Clear Wink of Stella on the Santa belt and boarders of his Suit. I added some snowflakes on his tongue with a White gel pen and some snow on the Lawn Fawn Forest Border as well.

mp1

I created the background with the  Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside border Forest Border Dies and the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die . The background is a piece of the Lawn Fawn Bokeh in the Snow 6×6 pad . I mounted the back ground panel onto a top Folding White A2 size card base. There’s and Action Wobbler behind Santa’s face to create some fun movement.

I used the following Copics: R24,22,29,20 / RV69 / Y21/ E50, 21 / C0,1,3,4,7,9 / Colorless Blender 0 .

Check out the video below for all the details on how I created this fun card!

And as promised here is the video for my last project using the fun Mama Elephant Reindeer .. featured in this post.

Merry Christmas….

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Tutorials, Uncategorized, Videos

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today.. I created a super cute card using Reindeer Games from Mama Elephant along with a Classic Mama Elephant set called Cozy Christmas.

mp2

I used the English Brick Wall Stencil from MFT and some Distress ink in Fired Brick ,Barn Door & a mini blending tool on a piece of White card stock to create the background. I trimmed a portion of the bottom off and added a piece of Brown card stock. Then I inlaid a window using the Window Watching Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I stamped the Reindeer & the Tree onto a piece of White card stock using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored them in with Copics.

mp1

I created a second background on a piece of Distress Watercolor paper and some Distress ink in Tumbled Glass and I added a few droplets of water to the background and patted it with a paper towel to create a snow effect.  Once that was dry I added the Reindeer image and adhered the panel to a Top Folding White card base. I added some Dimensional adhesive to the brick panel and adhered it over the Distress background panel onto the card front. I stamped the sentiment from Cozy Christmas onto a piece of White Card stock using Black Licorice ink from Lawn Fawn and trimmed it out.

Christmas Blessings: No Line Coloring

Written by Kelly Latevola. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Tutorials, Videos

Hello Crafters!

Happy Friday!

DSCN2554

I’m sharing a video featuring some WPlus9 stamps and no line coloring today. I’m normally a black outline girl but I love the way it came out 🙂 I was very inspired by some card’s Dawn Woleslagle of WPlus9 did on her Periscope.

I should warn you that I have no idea how to say flower names and I messed up the name of my ink the whole time. Oops 🙂

I hope you enjoyed the video!

Here’s a list of products I used:

WPlus9’s Watercolored Anemones and Christmas Greetings, Copic Markers in: R32, R35, R29, R59, YR21, YR24, E99, YG01, YG03, G05, G28, YG93, YG95, YG97. YG99, W1, W3, W5, and W7. Of course there is some Clear Wink of Stella too!

Ink Smooshing with Newton’s Nook

Written by Kelly Latevola. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Tutorials, Videos

Hello Crafters!

I recently purchased the Newton’s Nook Holiday Smooches set and I could not wait to ink it up!

These images are so terribly adorable. Swoon.

DSCN2530

I really wanted them to have a soft background so I decided to mix in some watercolors for my background. The ink smooshing technique is heaps of fun and the result is different everytime!!

I made a video but the gremlins got me again. There is a small portion of footage they carried off never to be seen again :/

I hope you enjoyed the video!

Here’s all the products I used:

Newton’s Nook Holiday Smooches,  Distress ink: Wilted Violet, Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber, Salty Ocean, and Twisted Citron. Copic Markers: C1, C3, C5, C7. C9, W1, W3, W5, R00, RV11, RV34, R56, YG01, YG03, YG17, B00, B01, B02, B04, V000, V12, AND V04. Copic Multiliner, Clear Wink of Stella,  and Pretty Pink Posh Sparling Clear 4mm Sequins.

Thank you so much for joining me!

Kelly
