I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. I did. Although I ate too much. But honestly, who didn’t?

Now that the Christmas season is officially upon us I’m ready to break out the Holiday cards! I actually started this card on Periscope. Chatting with everyone is such a fun time!

For this card I used Winnie and Walter’s new In Bloom: Elsa’s Flora.  Oh my goodness the floral images in this set wooed me from first sight. I started my stamping and wasking my poinsettia and leaves onto some watercolor paper. I masked them using some liquid masking so that I could paint a watercolor background. I used pan paints for mine but Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord and Salty Ocean would get you the same look.

After my watercolor was dry I removed the liquid adhesive with an eraser and started coloring with my Copic markers.  I used YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, R32, R35, R29, R59, E50, Y21, YR24, and E99. I always outline my images after I’m done coloring. I use a journaling pen or Copic Multiliner.

I stamped the large happy from Winnie and Walter’s The Big , The Bold, and The Happy in black ink and then outlined it with my white gel pen. I heat embossed the small holidays in white on black cardstock. I popped this up on foam tape to adhere it to my card. A few clear sequins and a coat of Clear Wink of Stella finished it off.

Hi crafters! Monica here with a fun Christmas card.  I know its Thanksgiving, but Christmas is my all time fave and it’s cold here in Florida (for a few days) so I am trying to be festive!  So I created this Winter scene using My Favorite Things BB Santa’s Elves and matching dies stamped on Xpress-IT paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink.

I colored them with Copics: Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, R56, Suit: YG05, YG07, YG09, R30, R32, R35, R37, R39, C00, C1, and C3

Hi Crafters! It’s Valerie here, and my card for today is a non-traditional Christmas shaker card using My Favorite Things & Pretty Pink Posh! 

I couldn’t wait to use the new MFT Peek-a-Boo Wonky Windows die set! And it worked perfectly for today’s shaker card project! I also pulled out their older set: the Jingle All the Way stamp set and coordinating die set.

The fun MFT 6×6 papers at work here are the Dots & Stripes Sorbet and Dots & Stripes Neutral. And I used the MFT Die-namics Cross Stitch Rectangle die set to cut the rectangle pink piece.

I decided to pull the fun colors from the papers into the PPP sequins I used for the shaker (I wish I had added more sequins to the shaker portion, however :/ ): 

• Clear Droplets 6mm
• Clear Droplets 4mm
• Marshmallow 6mm Cupped
• Marshmallow 4mm Cupped
• Onyx 4mm Cupped
• Watermelon 4mm Cupped

The colored images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper, and colored with Copics:

• Santa: Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20 / Clothes: R17, R27, R29 & N0, N2 / Beard: W00, W1, W3 / Belt & Boots: C6, C7, C9 / Present: Y13, Y15, & RV04, RV09
• Reinder: Fur: E13, E15, E17 / Antlers: E71, E74, E77 / R46 / Hooves: T6, T8 / Collar: E59 & Y17
• Girl: Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair: E50, E53, E55, E57 / Coat: Y13, Y15, Y17 / Scarf: RV04, RV09 / Boots: E17, E18

I added Zig Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen accents to the pink scarf, the pink ribbon, and the reindeer’s gold tags.

Hello everybody, Heidi here, welcome back to the Marker POP blog, I hope you had a great week. Today I am sharing some Christmas inspiration featuring Newton’s Nook “Naptime” stamp and coordinated die set, I also use elements from other brands, which I will list below, however the main focus of my card is Newton sleeping on the blankets on Christmas night. Let me show you the card and I will be telling you a little bit more about it.

I blended a night sky background using Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks and I used a stencil to add some snow. Then I cut the window using the “Die-namics Blueprints No.20” and I also place some a stitched snow hill on the out side of the window. The lights hanging form the window are from the “Baaah Humbug” stamp and coordinated die by Lawn Fawn, and the silhouette of the Santa’s sled and reindeer are from the “Ready Set Snow” stamp set. 

I colored Newton and the blankets, and the the Christmas lights using Copic Markers and added some details with a white gel pen and Glossy Accents. I stamped the sentiment ditectly on the card panel from the “Cozy Christmas” stamp set by Lawn Fawn, and I adhered the card panel to the card base using foam adhesive.
