Angel Marci

Written by Monica Edwards. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi crafters!  Today I am sharing a Christmas card I made using La La Land’s Angel Marci (which we don’t currently have, but we have Angel Luka!).  I love how elegant this stamp looks and against the white it’s just perfect!

Sending Joy: A Card Set

Written by Kelly Latevola. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hello Crafters!

Seeing as how it is the Holiday season there are tons of opportunities to share kindness. Last week me and a few co-workers packed up some shoe boxes to send out to kids for Christmas. These show boxes couldn’t be sent off without cards of course 🙂

I was looking for something that I could create a gender neutral design with and I found my answer with Holiday Cheer from WPlus9

I made ten cards, one to go with each box.

I used my MISTI to make the multi stamping super easy. Don’t get me wrong making ten Copic colored cards is still time consuming but at least I didn’t have to stamp each individual mitten and hat.

I took individual shots of the cards, too:

I used a white gel pen  and a Copic Multiliner to add in details to make each set different. Open stamps like these are perfect for dressing up.  From left to right I used Copic Markers R32, R35, R37, R29, Y38, Y04, Y09, R29, Y11, Y02, Y19, YG01, YG03, G05, G28.

Again left to right: G00, BG34, BG15, BG45, BG05, BG07, BG49, B02, B04, B06, C1, C3, C5, B32, B24, B26, B28.

Lastly I used BV11, BV02, BV04, C1, C3, C5, RV02, RV55, RV09.

I added some snowflakes from WPlus9 onto my cardbase with their Fairy Dust ink for some interest. The sentiment is from an older WPlus9 set called Hand Lettered Holiday. I love it just as much as I love the new Christmas Greetings, which could easily be swapped out for the one I used. I popped up each panel with some craft foam and outlined the sentiments to finish them off.

I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I  know the kids will their box of goodies.

Thanks for dropping by!

Christmas Tags

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Valerie here, and ’tis the season to be BUSY! And that is MY situation completely! Hence, I have a small project for you today, but one that was totally fun to make and easy to do, too. And that project is 2 Christmas tags using Lawn Fawn products!

I die cut the circles using the Stitched Circle Tags die set and paper from the Let’s Polka in the Dark paper pad.  Then die cut X-Press IT Blending Card paper using the circle die from the Stitched Party Banners die set.

I masked the stitched border on the circles using Mask It, and then  I stamped the images from Joy to the Woods stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The images are colored with Copics.

I added Lawn Fawn Mistletoe twine, Pretty Pink Posh Cupped 4mm and Cupped 6mm Sparkling Clear sequins, and Zig Wink of Stella Glitter. Then, I was done!

Have a great weekend, and Happy Crafting!

Warm Hearts

Written by Monica Edwards. Posted in 3D, Anything But a Card

Hi everyone! Christmas is fast approaching and I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!  Nothing like a belly fully of turkey and pumpkin pie right?!!  Now to work off those extra pounds so I can have room for the holiday cookies!  Today I am sharing a gift idea I did for my nephews class.  He wanted to give everyone something for Christmas so we came up with these snowmen in a jar!

I used Paper Smooches “Warm Hearts” stamp set which was absolutely perfect for the occasion.  I used this as the decor on the front of the jars basically to indicate what was inside of it… if that makes sense?!!

easy gift idea

I fussy cut the snowman out and make tags for each jar and since this was an easy image to color I actually let my nephew help me color them in.  He enjoyed that part the best I think!  Stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink on my Xpress-IT paper.  I used Copics: YR04, YR09, and E25 to color the noses.  The heart is R32, R32, R35 and R37.
