Guest designing for Marker Pop
Hi everyone! Amanda here with my first post as a guest designer for Marker Pop and I have used an adorable image from the store called Birthday Girl by Wild Rose Studios. Isn’ she adorable?
I have colored her with a combination of copics and Shinhan touch twin markers (colors listed at the bottom of the post) and have used MME “Find your Wings and Fly” paper. This paper is one of the prettiest paper pads I have seen in a long time. I have used spica glitter pens for the flames and some misc chipboard and flowers for embellishments. Thanks for looking!
Clothes R32-39 with Shinhan R1 for depth for her shirt and Y21, YR23 and YR27 for her pants
Cake E41-44
Tablecloth BG32, BG34 and Shinhan BG61 for the green and R32-39 for the pinks
Blue highlights around the image are B000 and BG01
Happy Mother’s Day Tag with Flower Magnet
Hi everyone, Kelli here! Today I have a Mother’s Day tag to share with you that includes a flower magnet. There’s actually no Copic coloring on this project but I did use a few dies! All the patterned paper on this tag is from the Echo Park – Sweet Girl 6×6 paper pad.
The flower was all cut from the Xcut – Petal Posy (Large) die set. I like how it comes with the little circle and scalloped circle centers as well. The leaves on the flower were cut from the Marianne Designs – Anja Leaves 2 die set. I cut them out with white cardstock and then added some Art Anthology – June Bud paint with my finger. The base of the tag was cut from the My Favorite Things – Insert It Instaframe die. I shortened the die cut a tiny bit at the bottom because I didn’t need all the extra space just for the sentiment. I noticed the flower got a little lost on the tag so I sponged the edges of the petals just a little bit with some tan ink.
To finish everything off I added a Pebbles – Candy Dot in White to the center of the flower and some Sun Kissed Twine to hang the tag from.
I sandwiched a second magnet between the top layer and the back layer of the tag so the flower would magnet to the tag without using adhesive.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day! 🙂
Birthday Yummy!
Good morning! Tracy here today. So did you all enjoy the Markerpop/Tiddly Inks blog hop yesterday? I sure do hope so, there were some amazing creations to see so if you didn’t get a chance to hop….you should!!!
Today I have a card using one of the Big Time Anyas called Anya Treats. I love these girls and I am so happy to see that some new ones were recently released and in the shop! I definitely need to get my hands on those too! I adore Anya Treats. I am a huge baker so anything with cupcakes, cookies, cakes, chocolates…sweets in general I HAVE TO HAVE!
I also happen to love the style of this one. The Bohi Chic look to her is simply adorable. The Copic Colors that I used today are:
Pink: RV10, R81, R83, R85
Black: W4, W6, W7, W9
Yellow: Y11, Y15, E33
I also used some of my favorite paper by Fancy Pants. Love their designs. As always, I used my Bazzill Cardshoppe Cardstock, Candy Hearts, for my base.
Thanks for coming by today and don’t forget to hop with us and Tiddly Inks!
