Hello to all our friends in Cyberland!   Marie here and I want to share a “TWEET” – I mean treat bag I created using one of my favorite  Whimsy Meljen’s Designs stamp paired with my Cameo Silhouette.

My stamp is a Whimsy Meljen’s Designs Rubber Stamp called Garden Birdhouse. I wanted to create a treat bag for a friend who loves birds so I selected a simple treat bag design from my silhouette. I think this would be a great design that would work great for gifting flower seeds for that special gardner in your life.  It is that time of year and I plan to create a few different bags and treat boxes for flower seeds.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink on Cryogen Paper.    If you have not tried Cryogen –  give it a try. It is my favorite paper to use with Copics and Touch Twin ShinHan Markers.

I used  the following Copic Alcohol Sketch markers to color the image :
Birdhouse: E30, E31, E33, E35, E29 and E49. I used my Colorless Blender to help age the wood and
added a touch of BG23 to enhance even more the look of weathered wood
Grass/Leaves: G40, G43, YG63, G27
Birds: B000, B00, B02
Background: I used my  Whimsical  Copic Faux Watercolor  technique. W0, W00, W1, BG000, BG00, Eooo and Colorless Blender

This cute little gift bag was cut using my Cameo Silhouette.

And this is my assembled project.
I just need to add some packages of flower seeds and the gift is ready for someone special.

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here with a love card to share with you.  I used the brand new Lawn Fawn – Critters at the Dog Park stamp set and the Lucky Stars stamp set.  The dogs were stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics:
C9, C7, C6, C5, C4, C3, C2
E29, E27, E25, E23
R24, R22, R20

I heat embossed the stars from the Lucky Stars set in clear embossing powder and then made a curved mask and masked off where I wanted the grass.  I used the Ranger – Broken China Distress Ink and foam applicator for the sky and the Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the grass.  I added a tiny bit of Black Soot around all the edges to help deepen them.  I used the grass from the Critters at the Dog Park set to stamp along the top of the grass line.

To cut the dogs out I used the Lawn Fawn – Critters at the Dog Park dies.  I seriously love dies.  I think I’ve said this before but they are my new favorite crafty item!  I used the Lawn Fawn – Heart dies for the two layered hearts.  There’s a tiny bow in the Dog Park set so I colored it and cut it out and added it to the girl dog’s head.  I used my Memento – Tuxedo Black marker to add little whisker dots to both of their faces.  The sentiment is from the same dog set.  I cut one end into a banner shape and added an October Afternoon – Cakewalk button in red with some twine to the other side.  To finish everything off I added some Glossy Accents to the smaller heart and some gel pen stitch lines around the red layer.
