Hi, everyone!  Kelli here with an appreciation card to share with you!  For all the stamping I used the Paper Smooches – Blossoming Buds stamp set.  I stamped the two main clusters of flowers in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto kraft card stock and colored them with Copics:
R39, R37, R35, R32
V17, V15, V12
YR18, YR16, YR14
Y35, Y15, Y13
G28, G24, G21
YG09, YG07, YG05

I love coloring flowers on kraft because it makes them pop!  I stamped the sentiment onto green card stock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it in white.

To give the card base a little more detail, I stamped some of the smaller flowers from the same stamp set in ink that was only slightly darker than the card stock.

All the layers are adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

To finish everything off I added quite a bit of Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear.  You can see all the sparkle in the last picture.

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here with a ‘Get Well Soon’ card to share with you!  For all of the stamping on the entire card I used the Lawn Fawn – Get Well Soon stamp set and cut everything out using the Lawn Fawn – Get Well Soon die set.  This stamp set is small and inexpensive and I love how you get a nice variety of images to create an entire card!

I stamped the bird and medicine bottle in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It blending paper and colored them with Copics:
Bird Body – YR15, Y15, Y13, Y11
Beak – YR15, YR12
Hat – C2, C0, 0
Medicine Bottle – B01, B00, B000
Label – C2, C0, 0
Cap and Heart – R39, R37, R35

I created the background by stamping the bandage a bunch of times in a diagonal pattern.  The purple patterned paper and the paper that the sentiment is stamped on is from the Doodlebug – Kraft in Color (Color) 6×6 paper pad.

I decided to stamp and cut the bandages again multiple times to create a border around the main piece.  If I were to make this card again I think I would stamp them a little darker.

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear to the bird’s hat and to the label and cap on the medicine bottle.

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a masculine card to share with you.  Normally all the ‘Hang in There’ type cards are for females so I thought it would be fun to make one for a male.

All the stamping is from the Tiddly Inks – Ricky Hanging Around stamp set.  There’s also a girl version of this set called Hang in There.  I stamped the main image and the birds in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Paper and colored everything with Copics:

Airbrushed Background – B24

I masked off the image and airbrushed the blue background with the Copic Airbrush System.  The little clouds were die cut using the Paper Smooches – Spectrum die set.  I airbrushed with them as a mask and then I took them off and airbrushed over them a little so that they weren’t bright white.

All the patterned paper is from the Doodlebug – Kraft in Color (Color) 6×6 paper pad.  I cut out the green background and the sentiment banner using the Avery Elle – Dotted die set.

I used a border punch from my stash to punch the orange piece and then tied some CraftKin – Lemonade baker’s twine around it with a plain knot.

All the layers are adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

Generally with most masculine cards I try to keep them pretty simple so I didn’t add much else.  I couldn’t help myself though so I did add a tiny bit of sparkle to the birds with the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear.  Then I finished everything off with some white gel pen stitch lines.

Hello!  Kelli here today with a fun Distress Ink card to share with you.  I had to make an anniversary card for my parents and I thought it would be fun to do the entire thing with Distress Inks!

First I started with the multicolored background.  All the paper used was the Tim Holtz – Watercolor Paper.  I used the Ranger – Mini Ink Blending Tool and added the Distress Inks.  The colors I used were Scattered Straw, Evergreen Bough, and Shaded Lilac.  They were all the mini pads from Set 4.  After all the colors were added and blended together I took water and dripped it onto the surface.  This pulled and pushed the color away in those areas and made a really neat pattern.  I sped up the drying process by using my heat tool.

Normally when you make a background like this is can be a little overpowering because of all the bright colors.  My favorite way to tone down a background like this without totally covering it up is to use vellum over top.  I love how you can still see the background but it helps to mute it a little bit.  I used the biggest die from the Avery Elle – Dotted die set to cut out a piece of vellum.

I wanted to keep the flow of the watercolor paper and distress inks so I cut out a bunch of hearts using the Lawn Fawn – Hearts die set and added Spun Sugar from Set 4 and Picked Raspberry from Set 1.  The sentiment banner was cut out using a die from the Avery Elle – Dotted die set and was inked in Scattered Straw from Set 4 and Mustard Seed from Set 1 and sprinkled water on it the same way as the background.  The ‘HAPPY ANNIVERSARY’ was stamped using the Lawn Fawn – Milo’s ABCs stamp set and the ‘mom + dad!’ was stamped using the Lawn Fawn – Sally’s ABCs stamp set.  There was no and sign in the Sally’s ABCs set so I improvised and stamped the top part of the letter ‘t’.  Then I completed the horizontal line with my Memento – Tuxedo Black marker.  The little hearts were from the Milo’s ABCs set and stamped in Scattered Straw.

The little birds are from the Lawn Fawn – A Birdie Told Me stamp set and cut out using the coordinating A Birdie Told Me die set.  I watercolored them using Distress Inks – Shaded Lilac, Evergreen Bough, and Scattered Straw.

I adhered all the paper layers using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

I added some sequins from the Pretty Pink Posh – Lemon Drop, Sweetheart Mix, and Clear 4mm packs.  The larger sequins are from the Lawn Fawn – Hello Sunshine sequin pack.

To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear to the hearts that were popped up.  I also covered those hearts and the birds beaks and wings in Glossy Accents.  There’s a picture at the end of the post that shows the detail up close.
