A Little Boo

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with one final Halloween card to share with you!  Halloween cards are probably one of my favorite to make so I had to sneak one more in before it was too late.

The three monsters are from the Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash stamp set.  I stamped them in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It – Blending Paper and colored them with Copics:
BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00
YG09, YG07, YG05, YG03
YR18, YR16, YR14, YR12

I cut them all out using the coordinating Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash die set.  The ‘BOO’ is from the Lawn Fawn – Critters in Costume stamp set and is cut out using the Critters in Costume die set.

I cut the tree out using the Paper Smooches – Seasonal Tree die set and adhered it directly to the background layer.  For the background I cut out a piece of X-Press It Blending Paper using one of the dies from the Lawn Fawn – Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.  To add color I used the Dusty Concord Distress Ink from Kit #8 and the Faded Jeans from Kit #5 and blended them together using the 1″ Round Ink Blending Tool.  The stars were heat embossed over the top using a few stamps from the Lawn Fawn – Spooktacular stamp set.

The green patterned paper that I used for the grass is from the Doodlebug – Kraft in Color (Color) 6×6 paper pad and the orange ‘BOO’ and background layer are from the Lawn Fawn – Into the Woods 6×6 paper pad.

The card base is the Lawn Fawn – Walnut Woodgrain Note Card.  There are also kraft and white envelopes that go with this particular sized notecard!  Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear to random parts of the monsters and a few of the outlined stars.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂

Happy Fall

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a simple fall card to share with you!  The main image is the C.C. Designs – Russell stamp and he’s stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It blending paper and colored with Copics:
E59, E57, E55, E53, E51, E50, E27, E25, E23, E13, E04
BG18, BG15, BG13
B39, B37, B34
R39, R37, R35
YR18, YR16, YR14
Y35, Y15, Y11

The card base is the Lawn Fawn – Navy Woodgrain Notecard.  There are also white and kraft coordinating envelopes to go with these smaller sized notecards!  The teal patterned paper behind the colored image is from the Lawn Fawn – Sweater Weather 6×6 paper pad.  The cord is the coordinating Lawn Fawn – Blue Jay Hemp Cord.  I love how all their new products are in colors that coordinate with each other!

I used the ‘Happy Fall’ sentiment from the Lawn Fawn – Sweater Weather stamp set.  I thought it went perfectly with little Russell!

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella glitter pen in Clear to the 4 leaves in the air.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂

Eye Think You’re Neat

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with another card for you!  I used the Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash stamp set and die set on my last card which was Halloween themed, but I just had to use the set again and decided to make a love themed card.  I can’t get enough of this stamp set!  You can use it for Halloween but it can also be used for other occasions as well.  There are multiple sentiments, a couple hearts, and even a birthday hat in the set!

All the stamped images and sentiment are from the Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash stamp set and are stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Paper and colored with Copics:
BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02
BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00
RV29, RV25, RV23

I cut the monsters, bow, and hearts out using the coordinating Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash die set.

The card base is the Lawn Fawn – Polka Dot Notecard in Sunflower.  All the patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn – Sweater Weather 6×6 paper pad.  I cut out the smallest layer using the Lawn Fawn – Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set.

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

I added some Pretty Pink Posh cupped sequins in colors: Lemon Drop 6mm, Pink (Sweetheart Mix) 6mm, Amethyst 4mm, and Clear 4mm.

I finished everything off with some Wink of Stella glitter pen in Clear and Glossy Accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂

Monster BOO!

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a fun, monster Halloween card to share with you.  When I first saw the Monster Mash stamp set from Lawn Fawn I knew that I had to have it!  I love monster and creature type stamps because you can color them basically any color you want.

All the monsters are from the Lawn Fawn – Monster Mash stamp set and cut out using the matching Monster Mash die set.
They were stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Paper and colored with Copics:
BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02
BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00
C4, C1
YG09, YG07, YG05, YG03
YR18, YR16, YR14, YR12

For the black framed piece I used the Lawn Fawn – Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set.  I used a smaller rectangle to make the three open areas inside as well.  I backed each opening with a different pattern of paper from an older Halloween paper pad that I had in my stash.  I didn’t want the color to overwhelm the monsters so I put a layer of vellum over them to dull them a little bit.

The ‘boo’ was cut out using the Lawn Fawn – Quinn’s ABCs die set and then stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white using the matching Quinn’s ABCs stamp set.

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

I added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear to random parts of the monsters and also to the ‘boo’.  To finish everything off I added little bits of Glossy Accents to parts of the monsters and also completely covered the letters.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!
