A Little Support ~

Written by Ash. Posted in Uncategorized

Hi iCopic fans!  It’s Alyssa here today with a quick little card – just because you get out your markers doesn’t mean an image has to take you an eternity to color it!

I used the cute little boots from SP & Company’s Rain Boots clear set.  They are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black – the only ink I use with Copics.  They are colored with RV10, RV13 & RV14 with a little C1 for shadow on the soles.  I randomly stamped the cherry image that is included in the set – so fun to make your own patterned boots!  The focus remains on these cutie boots and leads to the inside sentiment

I inked up part of the sentiment and stamped it.  Upon inking the stamp a second time, I placed a piece of scotch tape over the part of the sentiment that I didn’t want to stamp again.  To tie it all together, I added a couple little cherries.  There you have it!  A nice little card to slip in the mail to let a friend know you’re there for them *Rain or Shine*!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great weekend!  :o) lyss

Stella Valentine Card

Written by Samantha Peyton. Posted in Uncategorized

Hi all! Wanda here. This is my card of the week here on the iCopic Blog! You can buy the Stella stamp right here too! Check it out – lots of good stuff…and did you know that there are new Copic colors coming out soon? EEEK! I cannot wait…seriously! Hope you like my little Paris Stella Valentine!

I thought her hair needed to be a pretty chestnut brown… I started with my E57 Copic Marker and left my white space for the shiny bits. Don’t laugh at me…I had the best intentions of taking photos as I went along…but I just got carried away and kept coloring! Sorry about that! You get the idea though.
C

Her hair was finished off with E59 and E53. The “white” shiny part is actually a very light beige. You can leave that white too- just preference. Her dress is colored with the rosy shades of RV32 and RV34.

E

Here is a close up of the finished coloring. Her face is E00, E000 and RV10 which is my go-to color scheme for skin and faces. She’s so adorable!

F

I finished the card with chocolate brown around the outer edge and brown ink to pick up the color of her hair and provide some contrast to all that pink. I stamped the swirl onto the patterned paper because I just thought it needed to look more French??!! Does that make sense?

Tuesday Tips and Tricks: Airbrush and the Copic Ciao

Written by Samantha Peyton. Posted in Uncategorized

Hi everyone!!

For today’s Tuesday Tips and Tricks segment, I have a little video for you about using your airbrush with the Copic Ciao markers. The marker holder part of the airbrush system is designed to hold the Copic Sketch markers.

I happen to prefer the Copic Ciao markers, but still want to be able to use the airbrush system so I found my own little work around.

Easy, huh? It cost me one dollar to “convert” my airbrush system and I can easily remove the addition so that I can use Sketch markers too!
