You Make My Heart Flutter Treat Bag

Written by Tracy Valure. Posted in 3D, Eye Candy (Projects), Uncategorized

Good Morning! Tracy here today for 3-D thursday. So I got crazy excited when Markerpop started to carry the Saturated Canary line from Little Darlings.  I’m a huge fan of these adorable girls and LOVE to color them.  They have so many layers to them and there hair is the best for coloring!!

Since it was 3-D thursday today, I thought I would make a little Treat bag cover. Super simple!! The base is a 8 1/2 x 5 piece of cardstock. I then scored it at 5″, turned it and scored it again at 5″.  I used a cello bag that you can get in the candies area of your local craft store to add in my candies.  I added my embellishments and image before I folded up the cover. It’s kept together by punching to holes at the top and adding a ribbon to tie it off. You could also staple it shut if you find that easier!

The image is Little Lady Bug by Saturated Canary. I have colored her with Copic markers.  I then added some stardust stickles to her wings and antennaes. The paper is from Fancy Pants – Love Notes 6×6 paper pad.  The sentiment is from Flutter Heart set by The Greeting Farm.

Thanks for looking today!

Hugs,
Tracy Valure

Jingle Bells…..

Written by Tracy Valure. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Good morning and Happy New Year!!  Tracy here today and I’m sure many of you can appreciate this but I have had little to no crafting time the last couple of weeks.  If it wasn’t one thing going on it was another thing. So I am going to share with you one last Christmas card even though it’s after the season. Think of it as Christmas in January today! ;-))

I really wanted to share this card because I just LOVE how the coloring came out. There aren’t many cards where I can say I love them, but this is one of them!

Jingle

I used Tilda with Long Hair   by Magnolia. The paper is from Authentique’s Festive collection.   The pearls are just plain white and ivory pearls that I used a Copic Marker to color so they would coordinate with my card.  It’s hard to see in the photo but I also added some Stardust Stickles to the fur around the hat.

Thanks for looking today and I do hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your family!!

Hugs,
Tracy Valure

I heart you, friend! – Princess

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  It’s Kelli here today with a sweet princess card to share with you.  I used the adorable Princess no. 4 by The Greeting Farm.  I stamped her in Memento – Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copics:

E31, Y35, Y23, Y15, Y11
E02, E01, E00, E000
BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02
BV02, BV01, BV00
RV29, RV25, RV23
Y28, Y26, Y23

The patterned paper is from the Echo Park – Everyday Eclectic 6×6 paper pad.  I used a busier pattern on top and a more subtle one on the bottom.  I added a sentiment to a strip from the same paper pad and then put some rhinestones underneath.

I keep saying this every week but it’s really hard to photograph the Spica Pens.  I colored her crown with Sand over the gold and Clear over the hearts.  The subtle sparkle in person is awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂

Gift Card Holder

Written by Melisssa Forquer. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi ya everyone!  Melissa here today with a quick project.  This time of year I feel like I need quick and easy projects to make something look special but that doesn’t take TOO much time.  Shopping, baking, working and finishing up wrapping leaves little time.  However, as a paper crafter I always like gifts to look special.

MPcardholdALL

This year we decided to go with gift cards for family.  I rarely like the paper holders that come with them and I’ve had these little tin cans around for awhile.  I spray painted them in silver and set to decorate!

I used paper from First Edition and paired it with cherry red and aqua baker’s twine.  The Merry Christmas stamp is from Lawn Fawn.  All you need is gorgeous paper, some twine and an easy sentiment to make these fun gift card holder tins!

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and are inspired to try making these on your own!
