Written by Michelle Pearson. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

mp 3.5.13I have spring on my mind….and Whimsy Stamps’ Wee Ruby is here to share some springy inspiration!  I have two cards to share with you today with this adorable image!!

For my first card I matched her up with Simple Stories’ Fabulous 6×6 Collection and dressed her up with Copic Markers E00, E02, E27, E25, E35, YR23, YR16, Y38, Y21, YG17, YG03, G20, RV55, RV52.

mp 3.5.13.2It’s always amazing to me what a change of designer papers and colors does for an image!

For my second card I used My Mind’s Eye’s Sweetest Thing’s Lavender Collection.  I dressed her up with Copic Markers once again:  B97, B95, B93, E43, E42, YG17, YG03, E49, E47, R37, RV14, RV13, YR24, Y32, E35.  I finished the card up with a touch of faux stitching and seam binding.

Which Whimsy stamp is your favorite?!  I’ll be honest….I have a hard time deciding…they are soooooo stinkin’ cute!!

Hi, everyone!  It’s Kelli today with a fun springy card to share with you!  My main image is the Magnolia – Tilda with UGG Shoes which I stamped in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics:

E02, E01, E00, E000, R20
BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02
BV02, BV01, BV00
C7, C5, C2, C1, N0
YR18, YR16, YR15
Y35, Y15, Y11
B0000, B000

Those fun flowers were made using the Xcut – Petal Posy (Large) die set.  I used the second smallest and smallest flower dies in the set to make my embellishments.  I think it would be awesome to use the biggest one for the main image on a card.  You can choose to cut more than one and layer them like I did or just use one.  The set also comes with a variety of circle centers which I love.

Now let’s talk about the awesome centers in these flowers!  They are the Pebbles Candy Dots Crystals in White, which is actually just clear.  I wanted to get a closeup of them so you could see all the detail.  You NEED some of these and  I also NEED more colors now, lol!  Click HERE to see all the available colors!

Addicted To Pinterest

Written by Marlena Hoffman Peduzzi. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi all, Marlena here today to share with you a Pinterest inspired project.  And yes, I am completely addicted to Pinterest.  All I can say is how can you not be with all the amazing ideas, projects and inspiration you can find on that site.  From the moment I joined I was hooked and the pins have been piling up since then.  Today’s project is one I created after I saw, or should I say pinned, something very similar.  I took the picture, created my own dimensions and added the elements I thought would work well for this project.  I enjoyed putting it together and was happily surprised with the end result.

SK, best friends forever

The image is a Sarah Kay image, Best Friends Forever and was colored with my copic markers.  The colors I used are G28, G46, G43 and G40 for her dress and hat.  E 35, E31, E30, E50 for her apron and G99, G94, G82 and G 40 for the doll’s dress.

When you open up the front flaps this is what you will see on the inside.

SK, best friends forever inside

I cut the notepaper down to the size I wanted and basically created my own notepad for this project.  The two pads in the middle are post it note pads that I covered and embellished.  If you are interested in trying one of these on your own here’s the dimensions I used to put it all together.

You Stole My Heart

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  It’s Kelli here today and I have a love card to share with you!  I used the adorable Some Odd Girl – Love Bandit stamp set for the main image, heart strip and the sentiment.  I stamped the little raccoon in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with Copics:
C9, C7, C6, C3, C2, C1, N0
E27, E25, E23

For the kraft strip with the red hearts, I first stamped them out to make the background and then colored the inside of each heart with my white gel pen.  The cloud patterned paper and the yellow paper are from the Echo Park – Scoot 6×6 paper pad.

I added a little heart to the right side of the sentiment and added some Glossy Accents so it would stand out.
I finished everything off with some white gel pen stitch lines and a few green rhinestones under the sentiment.

Don’t forget to check out the New Arrivals Giveaways going on right now!  Click HERE for details!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂
