Hi everyone, Marlena back gain to share with you another Magnolia image.  Until recently I hadn’t colored to many Magnolia’s and I’m not sure why because I sure do love these gals.  Today I colored up the image, Ribbon Dance Tilda.  It was dance recital season here and so today’s card was for my sister.  She is a teacher at a dance studio and dances there is well.  I wish I could move my body like she does, that girl is just plain awesome.

Of course I colored my Tilda using copic markers and for her outfit I used one of my favorite green combinations, G28, G46, G43, G40.  Some of the other color combos I used were skin: E13, E11, E01, E000, E0000, hair: E39, E19, E08, E02, ribbon: E55, E53, E50 and gloves: C9, C7, C5, C3, C1.  I colored her hair to look an auburn color because that is about the color of my sister’s hair and green is her favorite color.

Hi everyone, Marlena here back as a Guest DT today.   It is great to back to share with you a project using the most adorable Magnolia stamp, Prima Ballerina Tilda.  My niece’s recital is coming up in a few weeks and I made this card to give her with a small gift as she walks across the stage at the end of the recital.  I colored Tilda red as I believe my sister said that her costume is going to be red and white.  If not, that’s okay, Tilda looks pretty cute in a red tutu!

I used mostly red copics on this way and the colors I used are R29, R24, R22, R20 and R00.  I also used E39, E27, E23, E11 for the hair and E13, E11, E01, E000 and E0000 for the skin.  I used The Fancicul Flourish large and small die from Cheery Lynn Designs as well.  I think I got a little flourish happy, but I like, so that’s okay.

Hi everyone, Marlena here today with a 3D project to share with all of you.  Today’s project is a wooden block that I am making for my mother for Christmas.  She is a huge fan of penguin’s so the image I used today, Penguin Joy from Whimsy Stamps, is just perfect to make a project for her.  I’ve seen some pretty amazing projects made using these blocks before and I have really wanted to give it a try.  Hubby graciously cut a wooden post into cubes for me and then I put today’s projects together.  I still need some work on hiding the exposed corners but overall not too bad for a first try.

The copic marker colors I used on this project are C9, C7, C5, C3, C1, R29, R24, R22, R20, R00, G28, G17, G03, G00, YG67, YG99, E55, E53, E51, E50

Hi everyone, Marlena here to share a project with you using the CC Designs image, Peace on Earth.  I used this image to create a hanging for our front door for the holidays.  I just took down our Thanksgiving decoration which spent more then a year on the door.  I thought it was a little past time to change our decoration for the next holiday, so I did.

The copic colors I used on my image are skin – E11, E21, E01, E000, E0000, dress – E55, E53, E51, E50 and Hair YR 24, Yr21, Y23, Y11.
