Graduation Card

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi Crafters, Valerie here today! Graduation Season is quickly approaching, so here’s a cute one today for maybe an 8th grader or a kindergartner graduating! Heck, I bet even a high schooler would like it.

I couldn’t wait to break this new Pretty Pink Posh die in that I just received, the Stitched Banner Duo set! I was also just as excited to use my new Doodlebug 6×6 Back to School paper pad!

How freaking fun are those images from Paper Smooches for this card? They all worked together perfectly; I loved it! I used these products:

All the background crayons are stamped with Lawn Fawn’s dye inks

Bee Mine

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today to share another Valentine’s Day card with you!  The bee and sentiment are from the Paper Smooches – Bee Mine stamp set.  I stamped the bee in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It – Blending Paper and colored him with Copics:
Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11
B01, B00, B0000

I cut out the bee with the coordinating Paper Smooches – Bee Mine die set.  The sun is from the Paper Smooches – Spectrum stamp set and cut out using the Spectrum die set.

The blue, green, and yellow patterned papers are from the Avery Elle – The Everyday 6×6 paper pad.  To make the hills I cut the green patterned paper with the Lawn Fawn – Stitched Hillside Borders die set.  The blue background was cut out using a die from the Lawn Fawn – Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set.  The hearts were cut out using the Lawn Fawn – Hearts die set from some patterned paper from the Doodlebug – Kraft in Color (Color) 6×6 paper pad.

The card base is a Lawn Fawn – Cranberry Woodgrain Notecard.

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

To finish everything off I added some Lawn Fawn – Orchid Hemp Twine and tied it into a bow.  Then for some added sparkle there’s some Wink of Stella – Glitter Pen in Clear on the bee’s wings and hearts and Glossy Accents on the eyes, wings, and hearts.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!
