One entry will be chosen at random to receive our prize. Three additional entries will be chosen for the ” Top 3″ based on their amazing coloring skills. The prize winner and top three can all proudly post their brag buttons on their blogs for the world to see!

Entries are due by Sunday, July 10th at 12 pm CST. The winner will have TWO weeks to claim their prize. *International winners will be responsible for shipping costs if they choose to claim their prize* As always, have fun.. We can’t wait to see what you create!

For today’s card I created a fun 4th of July card that would be perfect for a Summer Party Invite. I’m using the Patriotic Owl stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs and some Patriotic Picnic Papers from Doodlebug Designs.

I started out by stamping the Owl image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock and then I colored it in with Copics. I die cut the panel using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die set from My Favorite Things. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Altenew Super Script set using some VersaFine Black ink and my Mini Misti Tool. I die cut two piece of the pattern paper using the same die.

I created a top folding White card base and I adhered the Pattern Papers tilted so they would stick out behind the image panel. Then I adhered the image panel with some Foam and my ATG. For a bit of Sparkle I added some Clear Wink of Stella to parts of the image and some Sparkling Clear Mixed Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Check out the video below for more details on how I created these cards.

6 Fun Little Valentines!

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Valentines Season is right around the corner, and who remembers the fun little Valentines we would trade with our classmates in school?! Today I’m featuring some of these handmade little Valentines we all remember so well!

I started by using the new Doodlebug 6×6 Sweet Things paper pad and the new My Favorite Things (MFT) Mini Note die set, and I cut all the bases. Then I used the smallest die from the MFT Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX die set and I die-cut the pieces for the front of the cards, and stamped the sentiments with VersaFine Onyx Black.

Here are the backs of the cards. So cute!

All the images on the insides, and sentiments on the insides, backs & fronts of cards, are all from the MFT All Heart stamp set.

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT paper, and colored then with Copic Sketch markers. Then I die cut them with MFT’s coordinating All Heart die set.

Happy Meowlloween Tags &/or Cards!

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Happy Halloween, Crafters! Or should I say Happy Meowlloween?! It’s Valerie here today, and my project is a set of tags that can also be made into cards, using fun Mama Elephant products!

I used these Mama Elephant goodies to make these cards & tags:

Mama Elephant stamps & dies, Doodlebug paper, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, Lawn Fawn twine, Copics {ValByDesign, 2015}

All the cute papers come from the Doodlebug 6×6 October 31st paper pad, and the sequins are all from Pretty Pink Posh (colors listed in Supply List at bottom). The twine is Lawn Fawn’s Tangerine Hemp Twine

As you can imagine, I had a blast making these. It’s a little late for this year, but I have a good start on my Halloween cards for next year!

Have a wonderful weekend, Happy Halloween, and Happy Crafting!

Trick or Treat!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Happy Monday everyone.. It’s Holly here with a fun Halloween card using the Avery Elle set Pick N’ Mix. This set has a ton of great candy images and sentiments, perfect for any occasion.

I created a Orange card base and I added a piece of Doodlebug Oct. 31st Pattern paper. Then I added a strip of black cardstock and stamped the sentiment onto it using some Distress Embossing ink and heat embossed it in White.

mp1

I stamped the images onto a piece of Copic X-Press it blending card stock using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then I stamped it again onto a second piece of card stock and colored it in with Copics. I die cut the one image out using a MFT Stitched Circle die and then I fussy cut the second one that I colored. I adhered the cut out image over the circle die cut using some dimensional adhesive. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Candy Corn images for a bit of Shimmer.

mp5

The treat sentiment is stamped in some Lawn Fawn Licorice ink  and I added some Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh in Sparkling Clear 4 & 6mm and Onyx in 4mm & 6mm sizes.
