Sending Get Well Wishes

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi everyone, it’s Holly here today! Today I’m using a few products from WPlus9’s April Release. Dawn has done it again with another fantastic release, and the Pandas in the Friends for All Seasons: Spring set are too cute!

mp2

I started out with a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor card stock and using some Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn & Tumbled Grass I created a background with stencils and the Mini Ink Blending tool. To create the stencils I used the Scenic Safari border & Stitched Cloud Edge dies from MFT. Then I die cut the panel using the Mama Elephant Sew Fancy Creative Cuts. I stamped the sentiment from Sending, Hoping and Wishes set from WPlus9 in VersaFine Black ink.  I adhered the panel to a top folding card base and set it aside to dry a bit.

I stamped the panda & flower images using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White card stock and added some Shading and blush with Copics… W00,W1, R20, BG0000, BG000, Y00, Y02, Y08, YR15, YG06 & G07. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I adhered the top Panda and the Flower directly onto the card front with some Tombow Multi Liquid Glue and the lower Panda has some Foam tape behind him for dimension. For a touch of bling I added some Mixed Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I started by created a Galaxy Background on a piece of Watercolor paper using Distress Inks in … Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Perserves,Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I added the Distress inks in layers drying in between and then once it was dry I splattered on some Picket Fence paint and a few drops of Stain.

I die cut the panel using the Large Stitched Wonky Dies from MFT and the I heat embossed the sentiments and a few stars from the same set using some White embossing powder. I adhered the panel to a top folding White card base using some Foam adhesive.

horay3

I stamped the bear and balloon image from Space Bears onto some White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the in with Copics... I used W00, W1, W3 & W5 for the Bear and a BG 10, BG11 & Bg13 for the Balloon. I added a little BG10 around the Helmet and then covered it with some Clear Wink of Stella. I die cut both images using the coordinating died and adhered them to the card front using foam adhesive. I love how the background came out I wanted the bear to really pop against the background so I was going for a lighter center in my Galaxy.

Hi everyone… Happy Friday! It’s Holly here today with a fun card using Lawn Fawn products and Tim Holtz Distress Products. This week Lawn Fawn celebrated their 6th Birthday yesterday… so I thought what a better idea then to create a fun Birthday card with Lawn Fawn’s newest set Lovable Legends!

mp3

I started by Die cutting a Frame using the new Stitched Rectangle Frames from Lawn Fawn from a piece of Distress watercolor & Woodgrain cardstocks. I used the center portion of the Frame from the Watercolor card stock for my background and added some Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I also used another piece of the same paper and die cut the Sun (Spring Showers) , Trees (Forest Border) and Hillside (Simple Stitched Hillside Border) . I colored them with Distress inks in Twisted Citron, Pine Needles, Squeezed Lemonade & Spiced Marmalade. I added some Gathered Twigs Distress ink to the Woodgrain Frame piece and I spritzed all the Distress inked pieces with a bit of water and let them air dry.

mp2

I stamped the sentiment onto the Hillside part and adhered all the pieces together to create my scene. Then I stamped the Bigfoot image and hat onto a piece of White card stock and colored them in with Copics and die cut them out with the Lovable Legends coordinating die cuts. I stamped the trees from the same set in light green ink and colored over them with Copics to give some dimension and die cut those as well. I adhered all the images with some foam adhesive and added the panel to a Top folding card base. On the inside of the card I added a few footprints and another sentiment from the same set. Using Lawn Fawn’s Walnut & Black Licorice Inks.

mp4

I used the following Copics: B12,B24 & B26 / G16, G19, G29 & YG07 / E21, E23, E25, E27, E47, E49 & R20.

Lucky Friend…

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Videos

Hi everyone.. it’s Holly here today with a fun project using one of the newest sets from MFT called Lucky! There’s also a video at the bottom of the post showing how I created this cute card!

mph2

I die cut a piece of Bristol card stock using the Largest Wonky Stitched Die from MFT. Then I added some Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress ink creating an Ombre effect! I spritzed the panel with some Perfect Pearls Mist and dabbed it off with a paper towel, leaving a shimmery splatter effect behind. Then I dried the panel with my heat tool.

mph1

I stamped the images from the set onto some Bristol card stock using Archival Black ink and colored them in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, then I die cut the images out. I stamped the sentiment onto the lower right corner with some VersaFine Black ink and adhered the panel to the card front with some Foam.

mph3

I adhered the images using some Glue and dimensional adhesive and for a bit more Bling I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens: 25 Pink, 26 Light Pink, 41 Light Green, 45 Pale Green, 36 Light Blue, 51 Lemon Yellow , 50 Yellow, 91 Light Gray & 90 Gray.
