Hello everyone.. It’s Holly here today. I hope your week is starting off great! Today I have a fun slider card featuring the Adorable Up in the Air set from My Favorite Things and the coordinating dies.

I started by creating a White A2 size card base and then I created a cloud background using the MFT Stitched Cloud Edges to create a stencil and some Salty Ocean Distress Ink. Then I created another cloud background on a piece of White card stock that I die cut with the MFT Blueprints 29. Then I created a scene with some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics set. Then I die cut a channel into the panel using the MFT Slider Channel Die set.

I stamped all the images using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink onto some X-Press It Blending card stock and colored the images in with Copics. Then I used the coordinating Dies to cut them out. I adhered some of the images directly onto the scene. I created a slider for the Larger Balloon with the Channel die and the small circles from the MFT Surf & Turf Die set and three of the MFT Spin & Slide Discs.  You can find many videos on YouTube on how to use these discs. Once I had the slider all set up I attached the panel to the front of the card with some foam adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set onto a strip of White card stock and used one of the banners from the MFT Blueprints 27 using VersaFine Black ink. I adhered t with some additional foam tape as well.

I used the following Copics to color the images:

Puppy: E70, E74 Baskets: E23, E25 Banner: BV13, BV17 Balloons: R24, R29, YR12, YR07, Y13, Y18, YG03, YG25, B24, B28. Tree: YG25, G07 House: E43, E44, E23, BG01, C2

Welcome back everyone.. We are changing things up a bit with our Bi-Weekly Challenges. Starting this month they will run Sundays until the following Friday at 11pm est. We are also introducing Color & Sketch Challenges to the mix.

This week it’s our first Color Challenge. Use a minimum of at least 3 of the colors in the photo below and a neutral of your choice along with any products that we carry in the store. Your project can be a card, scrap page, 3-D item etc. Don’t worry about matching the colors exactly, we all have different brands of products in our stash so just match them as close as possible.

My Favorite Things Forest Friends & Sweet Forest Friends Stamp Sets

Hi everyone .. It’s Holly here today and I have a fun card for you using products from Neat & Tangled. This Mermazing set was a must have when I saw the release it was in. And the Making Waves Die set coordinated perfectly with it for a unique background.

I started by Die cutting the Making Waves die from some Watercolor Paper and a piece of White card stock. I added some Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks to the Watercolor portion to create the waves and the sky. Then I added some water drops and dabbed them off with a paper towel. After the pieces were dry I added them to the White stitched circle with some foam tape. Then I adhered the circle piece to the front of a top folding A2 size card base. I stamped the Mermaid image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored it in with Copics. I used BG10, BG11, BG13 & BG18 for the tail. E50, E51, E21 & R20 for the Skin. V12, V15 & V17 for the top and Y13, Y15 & Y18 for the Hair.

I die cut the image using the coordinating dies and then I stamped the Sentiment banner onto some White card stock as well and used the die cut. I adhered both of them to the center image with some foam tape. Then I created a small banner and stamped “you are” and tucked it just behind the mermaid image.

I wanted a little touch of shimmer and sparkle to my card so I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Mermaid tale and top. And then I added some of the Neat & Tangled Oceans Wave mixed Sequins.

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today and I have a fun card using the newest Friends for All Seasons:Fall Set from WPlus9.

I started out with a piece of  Watercolor Paper and I die cut the Tree Border Die from WPlus9 about 3/4 of the way down the panel. Then I used some Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Squeezed Lemonade to add color to the two pieces. I adhered the two pieces back together and adhered it to a Top Folding card base. Then I die cut a Frame from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames from some Wood Grain paper. I adhered the Frame over the card front with some Liquid Glue.

Then I stamped the bear and Balloon images from the Friends for All Seasons: Fall set from WPlus9 onto some Watercolor paper and colored them in with Zig Clear Color Real Brush Markers. I used Beige & Blush for the Bear and Red for the Balloons. Once they were dry I die cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sun image from the same set directly onto the card front with some VersaFine Black Onyx ink. I added some Yellow to the Sun with the Yellow Zig Pen. I like to add color to just the inside edges of my images with the Zig Markers and then using a slightly damp paintbrush I move the color around filling the image in. Once it’s dry I go back and add a little more color with the marker and just let it dry.

I die cut two clouds from the WPlus9 Happy Birds Die set using the same Watercolor paper and adhered them directly onto the panel. I stamped the sentiment from the WPlus9 Friends for All Seasons: Spring set in Black ink as well. I attached the Bear and Balloons with some Foam Tape and this completed my card. I really like how the Friends for All Seasons sets coordinate with each other. You can find all of these sets in the store.
