Always… Always… Believe!
Do you Believe??? Doooo youuuu??? I do!! But I didn’t always. Nope… I wasn’t a Believer… NOT to be confused with being a Belieber! Oh no! No! LOL Sixteen years ago when I met my husband, I didn’t believe in fairy tales anymore, nor did I believe in MEN! Sad for him, huh? LOL But… slowly and surely… HE convinced me it was good to believe. To really REALLY believe. And that yes… wishes CAN come true. As well as sometimes, the fairytale. When I saw this adorable image from Stamping Bella, “Uptown Girl Faith the Fairy”, I KNEW I had to have her!!!
As always, I used my Copic markers to color up this sweet fairy. I used the designer paper from My Minds Eye, “Find Your Wings and Fly”… LOVE the colors in this paper pack. I used the coordinating flowers as well.
I distressed the edges of the Cryogen White paper and added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, “Rusty Hinge” as well to coordinate with the colors from the paper pack. I added a little sparkle to her dress with some Stickles as well.
I hope you have a great Wednesday… it’s all downhill from here, right? 😉
As always, we appreciate your stopping by and hope you not only gain some inspiration from us but also join in on our challenges. And remember to check in regularly as there are always new items popping up in the shop! Have a good day!! *HUGS*
Copics I used:
Thinking of You
Hello and welcome! Marie here and it is Tip or Technique Tuesday!
I am so excited to share this new stamp I used for the first time this week. I selected this beautiful flower from Teacups by Lucy Cromwell (DoCrafts).
There are so many adorable stamps in this set I had a hard time deciding which to use first! I think I will do one of the teacups next time!
My image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink on Cryogen paper.
The focal image was colored with Sketch Copic Alcohol Ink markers
and I used a Faux Watercoor technique for my background.
The beautiful designer paper is from Wild Rose Studio and called Always and Forever.
Copics Used:
Flower: RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV02, RV19, RV64, W1, G21, G99 and colorless blender
Faux Watercolor Background: B0000, B00, B21, RV0000, G40, W1, and Colorless Blender
Opaque White Ink

And since it is Tuesday, I will share some information on Copic Ink.
If you are like me, our Copic markers occassionaly get low on ink and we need to refill the markers.
So how much ink should one use for refilling Copic markers?
This is a little guide.
Various Ink Refills
Measurement lines are marked on the bottle
Contains 25cc of ink.
Can refill an empty Ciao marker 15 times
Can refill an empty Sketch marker 12 times
Can refill a Copic (Original) 9 times
Can refill a Copic Wide marker 7 times
Copic Ciao marker
The Copic Ciao holds about 1 – 1.5 cc ink
Copic Sketch markers
The Copic Sketch marker holdd approximately 1.5 – 2 cc ink
Copic Original marker
The Original Copic marker holds approximately 2-3 cc ink
Copic Wide markers
The Wide Copic marker holds approximately 3-4 cc ink
How soon you will need to refill your markers will depend upon the paper you use and your coloring style.
Soft paper will absorb the ink faster and use more ink…… and that means you will need to refill more often.

Inspiration Monday!
Good morning Tracy here today! I’m a little late, sorry about that! It has been a hectic weekend, today was the FIRST time I have even looked at a computer, thought of crafting….and all that good stuff. So my apologies!
Today I am using the adorable Bee by Illustrated Jennifer Nilson for My Favorite Things doodle garden line! I also used the Blueprints dies for the layers, also by My Favorite Things.
The paper is from an older Authentique line, but there are plenty of beautiful Authentique paper pads in the store currently.
I added some glitter to the wings and the fuzzyness of the bee was done by using short flicks of my marker.
Thanks for stopping by today!
