Sky Mouse
Hello there! It’s Clare here today!
One of my favorite stamp sets ever for coloring is the My Favorite Things Harvest Mouse stamp set. It was what started my love affair with ZIG pens! So today I thought I’d share a card using these two favorites of mine.
To start off with, I adhered my card panel with some old patterned paper that could easily be replicated by splattering white acrylic paint on a lighter navy/purple cardstock.
To create the panel for my mouse, I impressed the clouds from Lawn Fawn’s Hello Baby die set. To do this, it will depend on your cutting machine, but for my Cuttlebug, I used my A plate, both B plates, and an embossing pad. This makes it so that the dies don’t actually cut the paper, but simply impress themselves into the die.
Once that was ready, I stamped my sentiment in grey ink, and topped it with some gems.
For the mouse, I used Light Gray and Gray Brown for the fur, Light Pink for the ears and flowers, Deep Green and Midgreen for the leaves, Yellow for the scarf, a little bit of Deep Blue and Persian Blue for the pants, and for the coat, I mixed Bright Yellow and Bright Carmine. I added little brown pearls for the buttons, and oila! The card is done! Simple, yet sweet.
Thanks so much for stopping in with me today and God bless!

Am in love with your adorable sky mouse card! Loving the color combo of the coat with the background color, which I would not have put together so am thrilled for the inspiration! It really brings a classy look to the whole card!
