Hi everyone it’s Holly here and welcome back to the markerPop blog. I’m up today and I have a cute card using the Santa’s Elves set from My Favorite Things. This set is so adorable and it’s perfect for Holiday Cards!

I stamped the smaller images from the set randomly onto a piece of Distress Watercolor card stock with Distress Embossing ink and heat embossed them in White. Then I used some Salty Ocean Distress ink to add color over the embossed images.

The images are stamped on some White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in with Copics. After I fussy cut the images out I added some Gold & Clear Wink of Stella to areas of both images.

The watercolored panel is die cut with a large Rectangle Stitched die and mounted onto a White card base. Then I die cut the Peek A Boo Wonky Windows Die from MFT from some White card stock and adhered it with some dimensional adhesive. I then added the images over the Wonky Stitched window.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set onto a scrap of the White card stock in Black Ink and added it behind the Elf. For a bit of Sparkle I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh using the Mix collection and some Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the markerPop blog it’s Holly here and today I have a card for you using the Watercolor Flowers and Written in Watercolor Sets from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the flower images onto a piece of Ranger Distress watercolor cardstock on the smooth side using Distress Ink Markers. The stamp had three layers and the first was stamped with Festive Berries and then Fired Brick and Gathered Twigs. The center of the flowers is stamped with Black Soot. You could also stamp this with the Distress Inks as well… but this is another great use for the markers. The leaves are stamped in Peeled Paint and Forest Moss. I created a soft wash behind the flowers using Stormy Sky. I scribbled the marker onto a clear block and applied it with a wet brush.

Once the inks were all dry I stamped the sentiment from Written in Watercolor using some Black VersaFine ink. Then I trimmed the panel to size. I created a white top folding card base and I added a piece of pattern paper from the Pebbles Happy Day 6×6 pad. I backed the image panel with a piece of Black cardstock and titled each panel and adhered them to the card front using some foam tape.

I wanted to bring in a little more black with any added sparkle so I added some Onyx sequins in 4 & 6mm sizes from Pretty Pink Posh. These sequins are great because they have a Matte finish and are perfect when you want a more subtle look. Tip: If your image is a bit splotchy after stamping onto the watercolor paper you can smooth it out with a damp water brush and it’ll give even more of a watercolor look.

Good morning, Crafters! It’s Valerie here today! How about a sweet friendship card today for the MarkerPOP! blog? That’s EASY to do with all these wonderful MFT products! 

I combined 3 MFT stamp sets & coordinating die sets (all shown in Supply List below) along with the 2 MFT paper packs (both show in Supply List below) to create this cute scene that is just too sweet!

All the images have been colored with Copic markers onto images stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper. The Copic colors used are:

• Sweater: Y35, Y19, Y38
• Pants: E25, E27, E29
• Hat & Gloves: BG72, BG75, BG78

I added some Zig Wink of Stella for some sparkle. The dog’s nose has Glossy Accents on it for some shine.
