Coloring on Vellum with Copics
Hi! It is Lisa here today and I’m popping in to share my latest obsession… coloring on vellum. I LOVE it! I love the look of heat embossing and colored images, but when you are coloring with Alcohol markers you have to be very careful not to damage the tips of your marker by accidentally touching the embossed areas. This is where the vellum comes into play. I am able to heat emboss my images any color I would like, and then I am able to color on the back side of the vellum. And the results are fantastic…
Copic Markers Used: Y15, Y17, B05, B12, RV25, Stamp Set: ConCord & 9th Hello Lovely
If you use a thick enough vellum, as I have done here, you are able to hide your adhesive easily behind the larger embossed areas. I liked the dimension that was created using one adhesive in the center of the largest flower, so I left it that way. I finished the card with a black panel and bright sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
