Hello Crafters! I’m Valerie, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with markerPOP!

I live just north of Chicago, Illinois, in the U.S. with my wonderful husband & 4 amazing kids (ages 11-16), and 3 sweet little doggies.
I’ve been scrapping since I was a child, and I discovered cardmaking 3 years ago when I started my job at a craft store, which changed my entire focus of crafting! My field of study and experience is in Architectural Design, but I currently do substitute teaching so I can be a mostly-stay-at-home-mom and work when the timing is right. When I’m not busy working or being swallowed up by my family, you can always find me in my craft room enjoying the glorious world of creativity!
I’m a HUGE Fan of markerPOP! and have been shopping from them for a long time now; their selection and prices are fantastic. The brands that they carry are my absolute faves; and the ones I haven’t used yet are like a new adventure for me and I can’t wait to dive in!
I am Copic Basic & Advanced Certified, and my marker collection is almost complete; markerPOP! has been the main source for my collection. I will be doing cards for this team, but I also love doing pages and mini albums.
So, that’s about it for now; thank you so much for reading about me and my history, and I can’t wait to come back with my first project for you!
