Marie here with a card I created using the adorable stamp called “Zumba Chick” by Saturated Canary.
I love this image! It gives me an opportunity to try out one of my new ethnic hair colors and skin tones.
I hope you like this too.
Copics Used:
Skin Tones: E50, E42, E43 and E44
Hair: E21, E34, E47 and E49
Eyes: YG 63 and YG95,
Clothing: BG70, BG72 and BG75
Shoes: C0, C1, C3
Background: C0, C1, BG000, YR000, Colorless Blender.
Other:
The paper I used for my focal image was Cryogen by Curious Metallic
and the image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black.
This paper works great with Copics and the ink is safe for your maker nibs!
This is a good sized image so I didn’t want to add alot of embellishment.
And sometimes – it is great to have a simple card that goes through the mail without extra postage!
I was going to add some really great buttons that would coordinate with the beautiful blue-green paper but
the more I looked at it, the more I realized it should just be simple and let the image truely be the focal part of the card.

Wonderful coloring and compositon Marie. I remember when you started taking the copic classes…wow…I lost touch for a while and your work and coloring are amazing. Well, I always thought your work was great, but now it’s the icing on the cake. This girl is fabulous!!!!
