Thanks!
Happy Monday everyone It’s Holly here today with a card featuring new products from Waffle Flower. Before we get to all the details I wanted to remind you today is the last day to enter our CHA Giveaway.. You can find all the details here on this post.
My card and video today feature Waffle Flower’s new set Bear and Bird. If you don’t already follow Big Bear and Bird you should check out their IG account. The illustrations are so cute!
I started by created Distressed background with some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress inks on a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor card stock. Then I stamped the images using the Misti with some VersaFine Black ink. I adhered the panel to a Neenah Solar White top folding card base.
I stamped each of the images again onto another piece of Watercolor card stock using the same VersaFine Ink and I cut them out with the coordinating Die cuts. Each image is colored with Distress Markers and a damp paintbrush.
I used the following Distress ink Markers to color the images:
Squeezed Lemonade, Hickory Smoke, Spun Sugar, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade & Brushed Corduroy.
Once the images were all dry I added them over the original imagesI stamped onto the front of the card. I had to add a little sparkle as well so I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Check out the video below for more details on how I created this card.. Thanks for stopping by today!
