Anyone who follows me probably knows that I LOVE combining stamp sets, and from different companies, too! I mean, why NOT combine Mama Elephant and Avocado Arts?!

That’s exactly what I did here for today’s project; I combined Mama Elephant’s Arctic Penguins and Avocado Arts’s Bee Thankful stamp sets to create this fun “Thanks” card.

The patterned papers are all from Doodlebug’s 6×6 Friendly Forest paper collection. I used the Paper Smooches Stitched die set for the stitch lines on the orange and pink papers, and the x stitch lines at the bottom of the pink. 

The main image is stamped on X-Press It B;ending Card Paper; the Thanks image is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and the penguins are stamped wth Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The images are colored woth Copic Sketch markers:

• Sign: Y19, G24, B01, RV55
• Penguins: C00, C1, Y35, YR07

The silver star embellishments are Pretty Pink Posh Silver Stars (the wooden ones were from PPP, too, but I can’t find them anywhere on the web anymore!). I painted the sign with my Clear Zig Wink of Stella Brush pen.

All the white paper is Bazzil Classic Smooth White paper, and the adhesive I use is Crafter’s Companion.

Hi everyone, this is Valerie here today, and I had so much fun making this set of cards for the MarkerPop blog today!

I pulled out a bunch of Lawn Fawn goodies that I wanted to combine somehow, and I went to town! The Lawn Fawn products I’m featuring today are:

I made 3 different cards:

I used the new release from Doodlebug for ALL the patterned papers on all 3 cards, Friendly Forest.

Both the scalloped frame die and the stitched rectangular die are from Mama Elephant’s die set, Creative Cuts Basic Set.

I used my Copic Sketch markers for all the images that needed to be colored, and they are stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper:

• Robot: C1, C3, C5, R20
• Robot’s Buttons: R24
• Present: RV10, RV13, RV14
• Cupckae: YR15, YR18 / Icing: R20, R22
• Clouds: A light line of BG000 along the inside lof the lines

Card #1 is a Birthday Card!:

The tree is heat embossed with a brown embossing powder.

The sky is created with 2 Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade.

Card #2 is for Fall

The tree is stamped with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink, colored with my Zig Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen, and then I heat embossed over it with clear embossing powder.

The sky is created with 3 Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Broken China

And last, but not least, Card #3 is also for Fall:

The tree is just die cut from a piece of paper from the Doodlebug paper pad mentioned above, using the die rom Lawn Fawn’s above mentioned die set.

The sky is created with just one Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass.

I used the following Memento Ink pads:

• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for all the black stamping.
• Memento Grey Flannel Ink for all the gears.
• Olive Grove, Dandelion, Tangelo, and Lady Bug for all the leaves
• Rosebud for the pink balloon on the birthday car.

All the Distress Inks are applied onto the paper with my Ranger Ink Blending Tool onto Bazzill Classic Smooth White Cardstock. The adhesive I use is the Crafter’s Companion Extra Strong Permanent Tape Runner.

Hello and Happy Halfway-Through-the-Work-Week Day! It’s Valerie here today 🙂

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, “I love this stamp set!” 😮 Not only do I love this stamp set, but I also LOVE making cards for Halloween; so I wanted to have one last BIG Hurrah (for now, anyway 😉 ) with my Mama Elephant Bootastic stamp set and it’s matching Bootastic die set – hee hee!

I created a set of 5 Halloween cards using all 5 of the main images from this fun set. All of the card bases are Lawn Fawn’s 3.5″ x 4.88″ Notecards:

• From the new woodgrain collection, Butternut
• Another new woodgrain pattern, Walnut
• From the fun PolkaDot collection: Sunflower 
• A 2nd PolkaDot favorite: Freshly Cut Grass
• And the pretty Hippo PolkaDot color

I gave each card base a stitched edge frame with the Stitched Edge Die from the Mama Elephant Basic Set. The stitched tags are from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 1 die set. 

All of the tags have a hole at punched the top and a cute little circular frame on it; I did that with the little hole & frame die piece from Lawn Fawn’s great Tag You’re It die set.

All of the cards have these shiny Pretty Pink Posh Confetti stars on them; either the Star Gold color, or the Star Silver color. Each card also has the banner on it from Lawn Fawn’s Home Sweet Home stamp set.

Every image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (my ink pad was getting pretty dry, so I’m glad I had the matching Tuxedo Black refill on hand) , and colored with Copic Sketch markers.

I painted some sparkle on the “Spooooky” word with my Clear Zig Wink of Stella Brush Glitter Pen, All of the images are stamped & colored on X-Press It Blending Card Paper. I used my Crafter’s Companion tape runner for adhering images down.

It’s time for some more Halloween Fun today, and since I don’t have the newest Lawn Fawn Halloween goodies yet, I decided to go a little spookier with some prior years’ Lawn Fawn Halloween stamp sets!

For today’s project, I pulled out these 2 always-great stamp sets: Happy Haunting and Critters in Costume.

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers:

• Chimney: N4, N6, N8
• Cat: C6, C7, C9

I used 2 die sets: Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card & Mama Elephant Creative Cuts Basic Set. The adorable pattern papers are from Doodlebug.

The sequins are Pretty Pink Posh’s Solid Cupped 4mm Sparkling Clear & Solid Cupped 4mm Amethyst. The cat and the yellow windows are painted with a Clear Zig Wink of Stella Brush Glitter Pen. The twine is Baker’s Twine – Purple Crush.

The white card base is a piece of Bazzill White Classic Smooth Cardstock. I adhered everything down with my Crafter’s Companion tape runner.
