Michelle Pearson – Inspiration Blooms

Welcome to another Tips and Tricks Tuesday here at MarkerPop.  Melissa here today and I’m going to be showing you how to make a simple and fun sky background that works for any image you might be coloring.  Today, I chose the adorable Whimsy Stamp from Wee Stamps called Sweet Blossom.  The paper I chose is from Simple Stories and is called Harvest Lane.  My first tip for you today concerns your favorite design papers.  Whenever I first receive my papers from MarkerPop I pull out my Copic chart and match the papers with my Copic colors and write them on the back of my paper pad.  This way I have a quick reference for what colors will match my paper.  It saves time when I need to color something quickly.

Next, I’d like to share with you how I create the whimsical background you see in the following creation.
