For today’s project, I am working with the fun The Greeting Farm’s Jesus is the Way stamp set and Crate Paper’s Flea Market 6×6 paper pad.

I decided to use this faith-based stamp set for an everyday card. I paper-pieced the image and taped off the angel’s wings during the stamping process. The image is stamped on a variety of printed papers and cut out. The pieces are placed together onto a pink printed paper. I used Chameleon Marker set of 5-Skin to color in the hair and skin.

The pink panel is attached to wooden printed paper. The sentiment is stamped onto a floral print and tucked underneath the legs of the stamped image. To finish the card, a few enamel dots are added to the card.

The following Chameleon Markers were used for this card:

Nude, Light Peach, Caramel, Burnt Umber

Thank you for stopping by today! We can’t wait to see what you create for the challenge.

Have a great day!

So Cute…it’s Scary!!

Written by Jessica Frost. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Good morning!  Jessica here with a cute Halloween card featuring an adorable kitty from The Greeting Farm against a spooky night sky!

The expression on the cat makes me laugh everytime I look at him…he’s so cute!  To create my card I started by stamping the cat from Scaredy Cats onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Versafine and heat-embossing him with clear embossing powder.  Then I colored him with copic markers and die-cut him with the coordinating dies.  I decided to cut out the little area between his tail and his body with a craft knife so there wouldn’t be so much white space.  I went over his hat with the spectrum noir clear sparkle marker for a little extra sparkle.  Next I die-cut the stitched fishtail banner from black cardstock, stamped the sentiment from Scaredy Cats with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.

Then it was time to work on my night sky.  I started by blending Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, and Peacock Feathers distress ink onto watercolor paper in a random pattern.  It looks pretty awful at this point but just wait! 😉

Once it dried I flicked water over it, waited 15 seconds and then blotted it off.  Then I repeated the process but waited a minute before blotting off the water which results in lighter spots.  I also flicked white and silver paint across the panel to create lots of stars in my sky.  I let it dry overnight and then die-cut it with a stitched square die from Lawn Fawn.  Doesn’t it look better now! 🙂

Then I adhered the watercolor panel to a black cardbase, added the sentiment banner, and adhered my kitty with foam mounting tape for a little dimension.  Finally I scattered a few onyx sequins across my card!

I hope you liked my “so cute it’s scary” Halloween card!  Thanks so much for visiting today and have a wonderful weekend!

Bible Journaling with The Greeting Farm

Written by jpascarella. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hello, everyone! It is Jessi here today. I am mainly a cardmaker, but recently, I started my journey with Bible Journaling. You can use a variety of mediums on the Bible pages. Today I will be using some Zig Clean Color Markers and some Chameleon markers, as well.

Along with the markers, I am working with the super cute stamp set, Jesus is the Way, from The Greeting Farm.

To start this page, I stamped the angel image onto white cardstock. Chameleon makers were use to color in the hair and skin parts of the image. The image is cut out and set aside. I took a piece of scrapbook paper and cut a strip to fit in the margin of the Bible. The angel image is attached towards the bottom of the strip and phrase ‘ Praise the Lord’ is stamped towards the top of the strip. Once this is done, set the strip aside and move onto the page itself.

The Greeting Farm’s Jesus is the Way stamp set includes a lot of word stamps.  I decided to use a variety of them to stamp onto the page. I am highlighting the words on a certain verse. In between some of the words and the empty spaces, I stamped the butterfly image or the trio of hearts stamp. The butterflies are colored in with a variety of yellow and orange ZIG Clean Color Markers.

To finish the page, I used a piece of washi tape to attach the strip of paper with the angel image. The tape is placed at the top of the strip (Half on the paper strip and half on the Bible page.) This allows you to flip up the strip to see the stamped verse underneath.

Markers used on today’s project:

Angel – Chameleon Markers (NU0, NU2, NU4, BR5)

Butterflies – ZIG Clean Color Markers (Bright Yellow 052, Yellow 050, Black 010P)

Thank you for stopping by today!

Have a great day!

Let’s Shell-ebrate!

Happy Monday everyone.. I hope you all had a fun weekend. It’s Holly here today and I’ve got a card using “Trishell” from the Greeting Farm‘s new Mermaid line. I love this new line of stamps! There are 3 individual images and a mini set with lots of mermaids and undersea images.

I created the background first by adding some Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet Distress Inks to a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor card stock. Once I had the colors all blended how I wanted them I added some drops of Perfect Pearls Mist. This product is discontinued but you can achieve the same look but added some Perfect Pearls powder to a mini mister filled with water and then use the end of the sprayer to flick drops onto your background. I also added a few drops of water and dabbed them off with a paper towel. Then I die cut the panel using the Dainty Scallop Cover up from MFT. I held all the pieces in place with some Glad Press n Seal and added some foam tape to the back and adhered it to a top folding White card base.

I stamped the image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock and colored it in with Copics. I used Colors similar to the background. I fussy cut the image out and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the tail and pearls in her hair. I die cut a Banner from some White card stock using the Avery Elle Pierced Banner Die set and stamped the sentiment from the “Trishell” set using some VersaFine Onyx ink.
