Hello!  It is Lisa here with you today and I wanted to start by wishing all of my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving!  I have also created a card that is perfect for the special day using the new Pretty Pink Posh: Giving Thanks Stamp Set and even better there’s a great Sale on Copic Markers in the store today through tomorrow. To create this card I started by trimming down my patterned paper and diecutting the tag shape from the Pretty Pink Posh Craft Die Set – Stitched Duo 1.  I also die cut a yellow edge with the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 Die Set.  I then stamped the cute little gophers and leaves onto separate white cardstock and colored them in with various Copic® Markers: E44, E33, E35, E37, E15, E25, E27, R20, RV91, RV95, Y15, V25, BG70, BG72, BG75.  Once I had them all colored I cut them out and layered them onto the card and tag.  Then sentiment was stamped along the bottom with Memento Rich CoaCoa Dye Ink. I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins.

Hello everybody Heidi here, welcome back to the Marker POP blog, tomorrow is Thanksgiving day here in the USA, we are hoping that all your preparations, travel, and family gatherings are all going well.

For today I prepared a fall themed card featuring the “Harvest Mouse” stamp and coordinated Dienamics set by My Favorite Things, I also used the Picket fence border die by Lawn Fawn. Let me show you the card that I made, and I will be telling you a little bit more about it.

To created the background for this card I used, Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Peacock Feathers, and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks, then I splattered some white liquid enamel. I adhered the picket fence die cut which I sponged with some “Old Paper Distress Ink“

I die cut, stamped and color all the images using Copic Markers, and I placed then on the card panel using foam adhesive. I used an exclusive-to-Pretty Pink Posh die to frame the whole scene, however, any sort of stitched frames will work and will have the same effect, we have a great variety of frames and other stitched dies available at the Marker POP store  There are some larger sentiments on this stamp set but I wanted to keep the scene as clear as possible so I chose to stamp the smallest of the sentiments “I pick you” and it goes good with the images.

The images are all stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper, and colored with these Copic Sketch markers:

• Boy Mouse: E70, E71, E74, R20 / C3, C5, C7, C9 / E23, E27 / Y26
• Girl Mouse: W3, W5, W7, R20 / T0, T2
• Cheese: Y15, Y17 / YR24
• Bird 1: E21, E23, E25, E27
• Bird 2: E44, E47, E49, E31, E33
• Acorn: E53, E55
• Banner: E50, E53

I used these Lawn Fawn Inks:

• Walnut (banner, sentiment, & acorn)
• Fake Tan (small Oak leaf)
• Cranberry (hearts on banner, Birch leaf, and Maple leaf on inside of card)
• Sunflower (Oak leaf on inside of card)

All the patterned papers come from the new Doodlebug Fall Friends 6×6 paper pad. I added these Pretty Pink Posh sequins for some sparkle:

• Clear Droplets 4mm and 6mm
• Espresso Cupped 4mm & 6mm
• Pumpkin Cupped 4mm & 6mm
• Burgundy Cupped 4mm & 6mm
• Raspberry Cupped 4mm & 6mm
• Mossy Green 4mm & 6mm

My final touch was adding Zig Clear Wink of Stella to several of the images.
