MarkerPOP! Challenge #34

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Challenges

Hello, everybody!  It’s time for Challenge #34.  Our amazing sponsor for this challenge is SWEET PEA STAMPS!

Sweet Pea Logo Edit

If you aren’t familiar with them, here’s a little info for you.

We are a small home based business, in Michigan. We pride ourselves in quality and value. I am a perfectionist, if it is not quality, I will not offer it. I started off selling D.O.T.S back in the 90’s as a demonstrator, then opened up our first company in 1999, and started up “Designs, Ink’d.” we sold our business in 2004/2005 due to health and family issues. Missing the love of the business and my are children older now, we started up Sweet Pea Stamps in April 2009.
We have two of our original artists plus have added my brother-in-law and niece and have recently added two more. We will be starting off small but I am sure that you will love what we have to offer in the future.

Sweet Pea Stamps – Summer Daisie

Written by Marlena Hoffman Peduzzi. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Good morning everyone, Marlena here today with a fun project to share with you.  Although today’s project is all  new I am using a similar theme to another project I shared.  I have fallen in love with these note paper projects and have created today’s to give to my mother for her table at school.  She is a teacher’s aide at the school where I work and I thought this would be a nice Back to School gift to give her.  I used pink in my project because pink is my mother’s favorite color.  The image I used on my project is the Sweet Pea Stamps image, Summer Daisie.

KM, Summer Daisy

I also used copic markers on my image.  The colors I used are Clothes: RV29, R22, R20, R00, R0000, E29, E25, E23, E31, E30, Hat: E55, E53, E51, E50 and Hair: E39, YR27, YR23, Y21.

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

Instant Color Window Slider – Part 2

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hello again everyone!  Kelli here with part 2 of the instant color window slider card, click HERE for part 1.  I really didn’t know what to name it, but that sounds good.  😉  I used the adorable Sweet Pea Stamps – Flowers on the Beach for the main image and stamped her in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink (on the card stock) and colored her with Copics:
E29, E59, E57, E55
E02, E01, E00, E000
G28, G07, G05, G03, G02
R29, R27, R24, R22
Y35, YR18, YR16, YR15
RV14, RV13, RV11
E31, E53, E51
B32, B0000

The patterned paper is from the Echo Park – For the Record 2 Tailored 6×6 paper pad.  I love how the little bit of  washi tape peeking out coordinates really well with all the other colors and it’s the Lace Dot in Mint Green.  The button is from the Prima Wood Buttons.  I just added a little hemp twine bow to it and adhered it to the card using Glossy Accents.  That is a perfect “glue” for bigger items like that that you really want stuck down.  Last but not least, the little banner stamp and the sentiment are from SP & Company.

Here are 3 progression pictures of what it looks like as you’re pulling it out.  It’s actually pretty neat in person!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂
