Aloha…

Written by lisascreativeniche. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi!  It is Lisa here with you today, and as the weather warms up here in Ohio I couldn’t help but be inspired by the summer that is unfolding around me…

To create this card I started by die cutting my tag from the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Square Tag Dies.  I then stamped the Aloha from the Sugar Pea Designs Pineapple Paradise Stamp Set. The font in this set is so pretty!  I added a few splashes of Gold Spray Mist, and set this off to the side.

Next, I stamped my pineapple (also from the Sugar Pea Designs Set) and cut it out to layer onto my tag.  While I was looking at the pineapple I thought it needed more dimension.  To create dimension in the colors I used my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers in a slightly darker color than what the image was stamped in. (TN3 and LG4)  Once I created my card base I used some fun summer themed patterned paper from the Pebbles Sunshiny Days 6 x 6 Paper Pad.

I hope this card bring a little sunshine your way,  Don’t forget to join us in our monthly challenges!  We have an awesome prize box up for grabs this time around!  Just use some of your markers that we carry in the store and your project is good to go!

Happy Crafting!

Birthday Wishes…

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi everyone it’s Holly here.. I hope you are all ready for the weekend! Today I’m sharing a cute card using the newest kit collection from The Greeting Farm called Hatters. This is a set of 8 Bean images and a few sentiments. I’m using the adorable Amy image along with some Copic Markers.

I stamped the Hatter image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored it in with Copic Markers. Then I fussy cut the image out and set it aside. Then I created a White top folding card base and added some pattern papers from the Lawn Fawn Let’s Polka in the Dark 6×6 pad & the Pebbles Fun in the Sun  6×6 pad. I used the MFT Blueprints #15 to die cut the papers.

I stamped a Birthday sentiment onto the fish tail piece from the Mama Elephant Lunar extras set using some Black Licorice ink from Lawn Fawn. I adhered the pieces to the card base using my ATG gun and then I added the Image using some dimensional adhesive.

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a few cards to share with you!  First up I created a Christmas card using the C.C. Designs – Meoples Snow Love stamp.  I stamped it in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It blending paper and colored it with Copics:

snowmen – B01, B00, B000
snow – B35, B32
cheeks – RV10
outline around image – C2

I cut the colored image out using one of the dies from the Lawn Fawn – Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set.  The snowflakes on the card base were cut using the Lawn Fawn – Stitched Snowflakes die set.  I am in love with these snowflakes.  They are definitely a winter must-have!

All the patterned paper is from the Pebbles – Home for Christmas 6×6 paper pad.

Everything was adhered using the Crafter’s Companion – Adhesive Runner and dimensional foam adhesive.

I tied a bow around the red piece using the MarkerPOP! – Sweet Holiday baker’s twine.

I added some Pretty Pink Posh – Cornflower 4mm Cupped Sequins around the snowmen to mimic snow.

To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in Clear to the snowflake die cuts and the red colored parts of the image.

Happy Mother’s Day Tag with Flower Magnet

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Anything But a Card

Hi everyone, Kelli here!  Today I have a Mother’s Day tag to share with you that includes a flower magnet.  There’s actually no Copic coloring on this project but I did use a few dies!  All the patterned paper on this tag is from the Echo Park – Sweet Girl 6×6 paper pad.

The flower was all cut from the Xcut – Petal Posy (Large) die set.  I like how it comes with the little circle and scalloped circle centers as well.  The leaves on the flower were cut from the Marianne Designs – Anja Leaves 2 die set.  I cut them out with white cardstock and then added some Art Anthology – June Bud paint with my finger.  The base of the tag was cut from the My Favorite Things – Insert It Instaframe die.  I shortened the die cut a tiny bit at the bottom because I didn’t need all the extra space just for the sentiment.  I noticed the flower got a little lost on the tag so I sponged the edges of the petals just a little bit with some tan ink.

To finish everything off I added a Pebbles – Candy Dot in White to the center of the flower and some Sun Kissed Twine to hang the tag from.

I sandwiched a second magnet between the top layer and the back layer of the tag so the flower would magnet to the tag without using adhesive.
