Welcome Baby!!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Videos

Happy Tuesday everyone… I hope you all had a great Holiday weekend. Today I have a new video featuring a card using the Adorable Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee set from Neat & Tangled.

I started with a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and traced the inside of a Stitched Oval Scalloped Edge Frame die from MFT with a pencil. Then I added some Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks with a Paintbrush and some water. Once the area with dry I die cut the panel with the Stitched Rectangle die from the MFT Blueprints 15 die-namics set. Then I adhered the panel to a Turquoise A2 size card base. I added the Scalloped Oval frame which I die cut from some Neenah Solar White card stock. Then I stamped all the images from the Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee set onto a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock using VersaFine Black Ink. I colored the images in with Distress Markers and a paint brush. I used the following Markers:

Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Carved Pumpkin, Antiqued Linen, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Pumice Stone and Wild Honey.

Once the images were dry I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and I adhered them to the card front. I stamped the sentiment using the Mini Misti and VersaFine Black Ink. I added some Gold and Clear Wink of Stella to parts of the images. This is a Fun set perfect for all Occasions.

You can see more details on how I created this card in the video below… Thanks for stopping by today! Don’t forget to enter our Copic Sketchbook Giveaway, find all the details here.

You are Mermazing!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi everyone .. It’s Holly here today and I have a fun card for you using products from Neat & Tangled. This Mermazing set was a must have when I saw the release it was in. And the Making Waves Die set coordinated perfectly with it for a unique background.

mp6

I started by Die cutting the Making Waves die from some Watercolor Paper and a piece of White card stock. I added some Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks to the Watercolor portion to create the waves and the sky. Then I added some water drops and dabbed them off with a paper towel. After the pieces were dry I added them to the White stitched circle with some foam tape. Then I adhered the circle piece to the front of a top folding A2 size card base. I stamped the Mermaid image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored it in with Copics. I used BG10, BG11, BG13 & BG18 for the tail. E50, E51, E21 & R20 for the Skin. V12, V15 & V17 for the top and Y13, Y15 & Y18 for the Hair.

mp7

I die cut the image using the coordinating dies and then I stamped the Sentiment banner onto some White card stock as well and used the die cut. I adhered both of them to the center image with some foam tape. Then I created a small banner and stamped “you are” and tucked it just behind the mermaid image.

mp8

I wanted a little touch of shimmer and sparkle to my card so I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Mermaid tale and top. And then I added some of the Neat & Tangled Oceans Wave mixed Sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today… Have a great Weekend!

Happy Birthday!!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Videos

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today with a fun card using the Big Top Birthday set from Neat & Tangled and a new video. This set is so cute and I love all the fun images in it.

mp2

I started out by stamping the images on a piece of White card stock using my large Misti and some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I was able to stamp all the images at once using the Misti and then I colored them in with Copics. I die cut them with the coordinating dies and my Big Shot. Then I used the MFT Blueprints #27 to cut the Black frame and the White scalloped piece. I adhered the White panel to a Red Top Folding card base with my ATG Gun.

mp1

I cut two strips of the Carta Bella Circus Party Pattern paper and adhered one behind the long opening in the Frame. I added the images with some foam adhesive. Then I added each image behind the squares trimming them as needed and the other piece of Pattern paper behind them. Using some foam adhesive I added the image panel to the card front. Then I adhered the banner with some foam tape as well.

For some Shimmer I added some Red, Clear & Yellow Wink of Stella to the different images. This came out so cute and there are several fun sentiments in the set perfect for any occasion. Check out the video below for more details on how I created this card.
