Happy Birthday!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Happy Friday everyone.. It’s Holly here today! Who’s ready for the Weekend? Today I have a Super Adorable Birthday Card featuring Mama Elephant Stamps & Dies.

mp2

I created this card for a Special Friend of mine who just turned 40!!! I created a standard A2 size card base from some Neenah Solar White and then I die cut a Piece of Dark Grey card stock with the Mama Elephant Pizazz Pieces Creative Cuts. Then I adhered it to the card front and set that piece aside. I die cut another piece of White card stock using the Dotted Details Creative Cuts and added a Background with the Geometric Grid Stencil from My Favorite Things and some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.

mp1

I stamped Happy Birthday from the Big Greetings Set from Avery Elle over the center of the panel with some VersaFine Black ink and then I adhered the piece to the card front. I die cut a second frame from some Black card stock and added just the frame around the image panel. I stamped the images from the Rock and Paws Set and colored them in with Copics. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them to the card front with some Foam mounting tape.

mp3

For a touch of Shimmer I added a little Clear Wink of Stella to the Guitar and the star over the eye and the Musical Notes. This is a Masculine card so I didn’t want to over do it with the Sparkles. I really like the way Grey, Black and Yellow look together and How adorable is this stamp set?

I used the following Copics for my images:

Musical Notes ~ 100,C9,C7,C5 & C1 Speakers ~ T7,T5, T3 & T1 Dog ~ R05,W7,W5,W3,W1 &W0 Guitar ~ C3, C1 & C00 and a little 0 Colorless Blender

It’s Valerie here, and I decided to pull out a bunch of MFT goodies and create a cute scene. I’m featuring these MFT products:

MFT stamps & dies & stencil, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016}

All of the images are stamped using my Mini Misti, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT Blending Card paper, and colored with my Copics (colors listed at end).

The brick wall is created using the MFT English Brick Wall stencil, and Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Pumice Stone & Hickory Smoke) & my Mini Ink Blending Tool.

Birthday Bear Hugs!

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Tutorials, Videos

Hi everyone… Happy Friday!! It’s Holly here today with a fun card and a video.. I’m using some new products from My Favorite Things and the popular Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz.

mp2

I started out with a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor card stock and using the Wonky Chevron stencil from MFT and some Ranger White Embossing paste I created a background. Once that was dry I added some Distress crayon in Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon over the dried paste and using a wet fingertip I spread the color around over the embossed area.

mp1

I die cut the watercolor panel with the Largest Stitched Wonky die from MFT and then I added some Foam adhesive to the back and adhered it to a Kraft colored top folding card base. I stamped the images from the Forest Friends set from MFT onto some White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copics. Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies and my Big Shot.

mp3

I adhered the trees and the bear using some Tombow Mono Multi Glue and Foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of White card stock using some VersaFine Black ink and die cut it using the new Blueprints 27 from MFT. I adhered the sentiment with some additional foam tape as well. For a touch of sparkle I added a few of the Mixed Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the following Copics to color the images:

Bear: E34, E37, E47 & E49 Trees: G03, G07 & G28 Bear Ears inside: R20

Rainbows & Unicorns

Written by Holly Endress. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Videos

Hi everyone it’s Holly here and today I have a card full of Rainbows and Happiness! I’m showing my age a bit… but how many of you remember the original My Little Pony circa 1980 something? The new set from The Greeting Farm called Magical Friends is My Little Pony perfection!

mpgfh2

How cute is that unicorn? There are two other ponies as well in the set and lots of fun sentiments. I started with a piece of Watercolor paper and using the Large Grid Stencil from MFT and Distress inks in Candied Apple, Mermaid Lagoon, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade I created a rainbow background.

MPgf1

I stamped the unicorn image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in it with Copics… C0, C1, C3, Y21, Y26, BG10, BG11, BG13 & BG49. I fussy cut the image out but there is a coordinating die available in the store. Then I added some Clear & Gold Wink of Stella. I die cut the watercolor panel using the new Wonky stitched rectangles from MFT and a piece of vellum using the Wonky stitched circles from MFT. I added the watercolor panel to a top folding Black card base.

mpgf3

I stamped part of the sentiment onto a piece of Black card stock and heat embossed it in White then I trimmed them out. I stamped the rainbow sentiment using Lawn Fawn inks in… Lobster, Sunflower, Fake Tan, Fresh Cut Grass & Fish Tank. Then I die cut it using the Washi Tape die from the Avery Elle Envie die set. I adhered the sentiment pieces around the Unicorn image and adhered the vellum circle to the card front. Then I added some of the Sparking Clear Mix Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for more Bling!!!

Check out the Video I created below for more details on How I made this card…
