Did I Miss Cake?

Written by jpascarella. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Happy Monday, friends! It is Jessi here. It is rainy here in Texas (sorry for the darker photos). How is the weather in you neck of the woods? Sorry for the Al Roker moment there, I am just really enjoying the rain! Anyway…

Today, I have a fun card to share with you. Have you seen that panda challenge that has been going around social media. It is a black and white image of a bunch of bears and you have to spot the one panda in it. Well, I was inspired to create a card from that.

I used the Wplus9’s Friends for All Seasons- Fall stamp set on today’s card. I used one bear image and stamped it repeatedly using the masking technique. I stamp the first bear holding the balloons and made the rest of the bears to appear behind it.

I used a variety of Chameleon markers to color in the image. I really wanted the one bear to pop off the card, so I left the rest un-colored.

I used the following Chameleon markers on today’s project: RD4, YG3, GR3, BL3, BL6, BR2, BR5, NU3.

Thank you for stopping by!

Party Like an Animal

Hello Crafters!

Happy Friday! You made it 🙂

Why don’t we celebrate with a party?

Okay it’s a small cuter party with big trimmings and I actually made it for my friend’s retirement but I think we can use it to celebrate Friday. She won’t mind. She’s cool like that.

We are using lots of good stuff from WPlus9 today including Party Animal, Unforgettable, and Sweets and Treats. I put together a video for you guys. Enjoy!

I love how bright it turned out. Just like my girlfriend 🙂 Those Distress inks really make a statement. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Fossilized Amber for this background.

The Copic Markers I used are: C1, C3, C5, E0000, E00, E11, R32, R35, R29, R59, RV00, RV02, RV11, RV55, and RV09.

Thanks so much for dropping in!

Happy Haunting

Hello Crafters!

While I have had a fine time denying that summer is over and yesterday was the first day of Autumn, I found myself looking for Halloween costumes for my son. Yikes. Where did the year go?

My only solace is that the holidays are coming and I can still use bright colors for Halloween 🙂

With that in mind I started my card for this post.

DSCN0526

I used two sets from Neat and Tangled, Halloween Scene and Graveyard Shift. Did you know we recently started carrying the Neat and Tangled line? Absolutely, love them 🙂

I did some ink smooshing in the background before coloring my scene up with my Copic markers. You can see it all in the video below.

In case you missed them the Copics I used are: BV23, C1, C3, C5, C9, Y00, Y04, Y08, V00, V01, V04, V09, YG01, YG03, AND YG17.

Also I lied in the video 🙂 The current challenge is Halloween. Haha! My bad 🙂
