Good morning everyone, Marlena here today with a fun project to share with you.  Although today’s project is all  new I am using a similar theme to another project I shared.  I have fallen in love with these note paper projects and have created today’s to give to my mother for her table at school.  She is a teacher’s aide at the school where I work and I thought this would be a nice Back to School gift to give her.  I used pink in my project because pink is my mother’s favorite color.  The image I used on my project is the Sweet Pea Stamps image, Summer Daisie.

I also used copic markers on my image.  The colors I used are Clothes: RV29, R22, R20, R00, R0000, E29, E25, E23, E31, E30, Hat: E55, E53, E51, E50 and Hair: E39, YR27, YR23, Y21.

Good morning everyone!  Marlena here for Tuesday Tips & Tricks.  My tip, or trick, for the day has to do with making boxes.  I don’t know about you but I HATE IT when I cut everything out following the measurements TO THE LETTER and then when I line up the sides of  my box they aren’t even.  Drives me crazy!   BUT, I figured out a way to fix this problem, at least for the most part.  Now when I make my boxes I cut my inner sides at a slight angle and this way if the sides don’t match up exactly it isn’t noticeable.  In fact, most of the time all you can really see is a little corner taller than the rest, and that is only if you are looking for a flaw.

Here’s a few photos to illustrate what I mean.

I take a pair of scissors to one side of the edge of a box and make a small diagonal cut from the fold to the outside of the paper.  You can’t do this to both sides of the box because then you won’t have any full length sides for the box, just diagonals.

My project today was a small card set with gift box.  The image I used on the box and the card set is the Elisabeth Bell image, Pretty Kitty.

I made a box with a flip top and used a ribbon to hold it closed.  Below is a picture of the cards that are inside the box as well.

Of course when coloring my image I used copic markers.  The markers I used are Dress: RV69, RV66, RV63, Vooo, V0000, V99, V95, V93, V91, Pants: E57, E37, E34, E31, E30, Skin: E11, E21, E01, E000, E0000 and Hair: E49, E59, E39, E31.

Hi everyone, it’s Marlena today sharing with you a fun project that I found on one of my many trips to Pinterest.  Well, actually, let me be honest, I found it through Facebook when one of my Facebook friends pinned it to Pinterest.  As soon as I saw it I hopped on over and had to pin the project myself, especially since it had a tutorial and all!  As soon as it was pinned I had to whip one right up and, well, here I am sharing my project with all of you.

For an image on today’s project I used the Whimsy Stamps, Elisabeth Bell image, Sweet and Sassy.

I colored my image with copic markers.  the colors I used were Pants: B37, B18, B16, B12, B00, Shirt: Y38, Y35, Y32, YR30, Hat E29, E25, E23, E31 and Skin: E13, E11, E01, E000, E0000.  The original project had a large sized post it note pad in the box in the front.  Since I didn’t have any post it pads that size I made a notepad myself and covered it to go with the rest of the easel card.

Good morning everyone!  Today for 3D Thursday I am sharing a tall gift box I made using the Stamping Bella image, Uptown Bianca Loves Her Big Cake. Why a tall box, well I really wanted this image to fit on the box so I could use it for a birthday gift for a friend.  This is such a great birthday image, I just love it!

I used my copic markers to color the image.  The colors I used are, Cake: E25, E23, E31, E30, RV23, RV10, RV000, RV0000 and Bianca: E13, E11, E01, E000, C5, C3, C1, CB.
