A Wedding Card with Wild Rose Studio

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hello Crafters! It’s Valerie here today and I have a wedding card for you using lots of Wild Rose Studio (WRS) products: stamps, dies, and papers!

Wild Rose Studio

So, I’ve learned to approach my WRS images with a completely new approach – coloring light; instead of all the heavy shading that I normally do, I did very light shading since these images are so delicate with their thin lines and fine details.

My card is 5″ x 7″, and the image, Just Married, is colored with Copic Sketch markers onto X-Press It Blending paper

MarkerPOP! - Wild Rose StudioThe sentiment comes from a wonderful Wild Rose Studio stamp set, Romantic Greetings; I stamped both images with Black Memento Ink

The papers all come from Wild Rose Studio’s 6×6 paper pack, Butterfly Garden

The 2 corner yellow flourishes die cuts are Wild Rose Studio, too! The upper left is Leafy Branch, and the lower right is Corner Flourish

The corner die on the lower left is from La La Land Crafts, called the Filigree Corner

Now that I’m feeling MUCH more confident with this gorgeous line, I can’t wait to work with more of their images; there are many different types of Wild Rose Studio beautiful  images, gorgeous dies, and amazing papers.

And, if you’re not comfortable coloring the images, or would like to have some colored images on hand (which I’m thinking about!) to save on coloring time when you’re in a pinch, they even have Printed Panel collections! Here are some examples!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my card today; I can’t wait to dig into some more fun with Wild Rose studio products again soon!

Father’s Day

Written by Marlena Hoffman Peduzzi. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Father’s Day is this weekend so I have been working on my Father’s Day cards.  Two done, two more to go, but I know I will have them done by the weekend.  At least, I hope I will.  Today’s card is just that, this card is the one I made for my husband.  To give a little background we live on a private farm that has a small orchard and a vineyard, and several tractors.  And, of course this is no tractor in the world like a John Deere tractor.  Fast forward several years to my son who was predestined to be a John Deere tractor lover.  So, of course for his third birthday/Christmas, the same day by the way, when daddy found a tractor power wheels, it had to be bought.  So now both my guys ride around the farm on their tractors.  Hence this image being perfect for my husband’s Father’s Day card.

laLaLand, Luka on Tractor

The image on my card is the La-La Land image, Luka on Tractor.  And, of course I used my copic markers for this one and the colors I used are, Hat: R27, R24, R22, R20, R00, Overalls: B26, B24, B21, B60, Tractor: G17, G05, G02, G00, Shirt: YR07, YR04, YR01, YR00, and Tires: C9, C7, C5, C3, C1.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
