Translation: Happy Easter!

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi MarkerPop Peeps! It’s Valerie here today, and with Easter quickly approaching, I’m mixing old and new (well, “newER” anyway) Lawn Fawn products today for a sweet and fun Easter card!

The adorable chicks and all their sweet accessories com from Lawn Fawn’s Chirpy Chirp Chirp set that was released in February of 2016 (seems like just yesterday!). I stamped them with Lawn Fawndamentals Black Licorice ink onto X-Press Ink paper, and colored them with my Copic Sketch markers.

All the adorable die cut pieces are all Lawn Fawn Cut Sets.  Here are the sets I used and for which pieces:

All of the solid colors are actually white paper colored with Lawn Fawndamentals inks and a couple Distress inks; you can see all the specific ones I used in the Supply List below.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a GREAT day!

Happy Easter!!

Hello everyone.. I hope you all had a great Holiday Weekend! It’s Holly here today with a new video and a fun shaker card. Im using the new set from Neat & Tangled called Cottontail Cuties and the coordinating dies.

I created the tags using the Blueprints Tag Builder #6 set from My Favorite Things. The background in the tag is some of the new Doodlebug Spring Things pattern paper. The center of the shaker is created with an MFT Shaker Pouch. I added some sequins and seed Beads from my stash. The image is stamped onto some Tim Holtz watercolor paper using the Mini Misti in VersaFine Black ink and heat embossed in Clear embossing powder.

 I colored the image in with Distress markers and a Damp paintbrush. I used the following colors for the image: Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Pumice Stone, Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose & Rusty Hinge. Once the image was dry I die cut it with the coordinating dies and then I adhered it to the front of the shaker with some liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment onto some Neenah Solar White using VersaFine Black ink. I attached the tag with some Twine. This is perfect for a Basket Tag or to add to a gift.

Check out the video below for more details on how I created this card.

Have a great week!

Is it really Easter time already?! I can not believe how fast this year is flying by! I have so many wonderful Easter stamp sets to work with, and this is the first one I’ve finally gotten done – ugh! Well, at least Lawn Fawn (LF) made it easy for me with all their amazing new products they have (and you can find them all at the MarkerPOP! store 😉 )!

Today I’m using these wonderful new LF goodies:

Lawn Fawn stamps & dies & paper, Copics {ValByDesign, 2016}

I stamped the images I needed to color with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press IT Blending paper, amd colored them with Copics (colors listed at the end).

I created the clouds in the background by making masks with all the dies from the My Favorite Things Stitched Cloud Edges dies, and then rubbing Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with my Mini Ink Blending Tool onto White cardstock.
