Hello everybody Heidi here, welcome back to the Marker POP blog, today I am sharing a card featuring some of the adorable new Lawn Fawn products, available at the Marker POP store.

For this card I used the new Mom + Me stamp set and its coordinated die set. I used Copic Markers to color the images. To stamp the tree trunk I used “Walnut,” for the green grass I used “Freshly Cut Grass” and for the flowers I used the new “Plastic Flamingo.” I also used “Freshly Cut Grass” and “Celery Stick” to subtle sponge the background.

I decorated the bottom of the white card panel using three of the “Lawncuts Stitched Borders” dies, and for the bottom part of the card I used some of the new 6 x 6 “Perfectly Plaid” patterned paper.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using black ink

Hello everybody, Heidi here with more Halloween inspiration, today a card featuring the Mama Elephant “Bootastic” stamp set, which is one of my favorites for Halloween projects.

I wanted to created the impression that the girl in the princess costume is getting photo bombed by the boy in the Frankenstein costume, so I draw the little open mouse on the girl like she is surprised, I hope you’ll like the idea. Let me show you and tell you a little bit more about it!

to created the Polaroid I blended a deep purple background using “Dusty Concord” and Chipped Sapphire” distress ink, and stamp the sky line form the “Central Park” stamp set, (you could used the “Cityscape” Creative cut by Mama Elephant instead of the stamp, I added it to the list of supplies just in case). 

I stamped, colored and die cut the images which I adhered to the blended background using liquid glue. Then I used the Mama Elephant creative cuts “Polaroid fun” to frame scene. I wanted the Polaroid to be the focal point of the card, so the background of the card is muted with some grey bats, on the white card-stock base.  

Finally, I heated embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder,and adhered the Polaroid to the front of the card.

Our designer, Heidi, created this adorable card for today’s Challenge! The Lawn Fawn products she’s using are:

• Critters in the Jungle stamps and dies
• Penelope’s Blossoms stamps and dies
• Plus One stamps and dies
• Riley’s ABC’s stamp set
• Wild Rose Fawndamentals Ink Pad (for the flowers)
• Sunflower Fawndamentals Ink Pad (for the flowers)
• Mermaid Fawndamentals Ink Pad (for the flowers)
• Freshly Cut Grass Fawndamentals Ink Pad (for the flowers)

She stamped the monkey and the umbrella with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper, and colored them with Copics: R20, R22, R24, E50, E51, E53,E55

She used Distress Inks for the grass and sky:

• Cracked Pistachio and Mowed Lawn for the grass
• Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass for the sky

The cardstock is Bazzill White.

I am so thrilled to welcome you to my first post as a Marker POP designer! I was so happy to be chosen for this design team, because, Marker POP is an online store where I actually shop, they have one of the largest assortments of color markers, refills, and all of the manufacturers, and brands that I love.

For my first post I have chosen to make a card with one stamp, that I personally love and that I know you will love too: Critters in the Jungle, by Lawn Fawn. I’m crazy over critters, you know it!

Now let’s look and what I created for you today, I hope you’ll enjoy it. All the supplies and a giveaway details are below

Kids will love the different animals of this card: Jaguar, Emerald Tree Boa, Squirrel Monkey, so I created this card having a kid’s birthday on mind.

Using the second smallest of the larger set of the stitched squares by Lawn Fawn, and a T-ruler, I created the window panel, starting with the middle window,

I love how you can customized your critters on this stamp set, to be the kind that you want, for example: a jaguar or leopard, any sort of snake or monkey!
