Hello everybody, Heidi here, welcome back to another colorful Saturday! I hope your weekend stared with a smile.

Today I am sharing with you a fun card that I created with the adorable “Clowning around” stamp and coordinated die set by My Favorite Things.

Let me show you the card that I created for today’s post, and I’ll be telling you a little bit more about it. As always all the supplies are listed and linked bellow for your reference and convenience.

I have lots of fun coloring this image. There are so many things you can do with it! I colored it using Copic Markers and I added some dots of white gel pen to some areas of the clown’s clothing! 

There is not right or wrong way to color a clown, therefore, you can used any color combination or mismatch of striped and dots, that you want.

I used some twine to attach the balloon to the clown’s hand, and as finishing touch I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Hello everybody, welcome to another Colorful Saturday, Heidi here, sharing with you, a friendship card using new Mama Elephant stamps and dies. I had lots of fun making this card! It was one of those cards that makes you happy to make, it might been because of  the puppies, (I love puppies) I really enjoyed making this card, so I hope you give it a try. It came together real easy, I think, with this stamp and dies set, once you have all your pieces all colored and cut you can create a real cute scene. so let’s take a look and I will tell you a little bit more about it

The sentiment on the top part is from the Mama Elephant “Honey Bunny” stamp set, the sentiment on the lower part is from the Mama Elephant “Sunday Sentiments” stamp set.

  To create the sky and grass, I simply masked the area with a piece of post it tape and used “Distress Ink” to softly blend the grass and sky.

I colored the puppy on the right to make him look like my own puppy and I gave the other puppy a spotted look.

Today I am bringing you a super fun card! I had lots of fun making it, and if you’ll try it, I promise you will have fun! I am a big animal lover, especially dogs and cats, so if any of my favorite brands release animal stamp sets, I have to have them! Today I am using  the “You make my tail wag” stamp and die set by My Favorite Things , the brick stencil, also by MFT, some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins, and other fun supplies

Let’s look at the card that I created to share with you today, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

the window is from Blueprints 20 by My favorite Thins I just trimmed off two of the panels to make it smaller, I also used “antique linen” to distress the whole wall just a little bit

I colored the texture paste using “fire brick” distress ink by Ranger.

I put the texture paste on few places, the stencil is a 6×6 you could choose to put paste on all the paper to make a whole brick wa

Today I am bringing you a card that I created using one of the recent sets from Mama Elephant, available from our shop, “Bear Hugs” I also used lots of distress ink and masking. I hope you’ll like this card, and that you get inspired to create with masks, distress inks, and Copics.

First I cut a circle on masking paper using a circle die, I placed the negative space and I created the sun, with the blending tool, and some distress inks. I removed the mask, and cover the sun with a circle mask. I used my paper tripper to cut different stripes of masking paper, also I cut a wavy mask using scissors, then I tore some masking paper to make the shore line. And I blended my sunset background, as well as the sand.

What I like about distress inks, is that there is not right or wrong, just play with then and blend along! The seagulls are  from the  “Life is Good” stamp set by Lawn Fawn. The “I love you” is from the “Purrfect pair” stamp set by Mama Elephant.
