Written by Melisssa Forquer. Posted in Uncategorized

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another challenge here at iCopic!  Sorry this didn’t go up earlier today, Mr. Blogger had a hiccup.

The Challenge:
We want you to use your Green Copics (G family).  Spring is the perfect time to pull out those greens.

To join this week’s challenge just add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, April 15th at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week’s prize. The winner and top 3 picks will be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening!  We will also announce our weekly commenting winner too (chosen at random from all the comments left on the blog this week, so be sure to leave us some love)! REMEMBER – ONLY iCOPIC CUSTOMERS SHOULD PARTICIPATE!

This week’s prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

Melissa created this little gift bag with adorable stamp from Stampavie by Penny Johnson called Little Tobie Watering the Roses.  The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped on Curious Cryogen White paper.  The image was colored in the following Copic markers: Click on the image to enlarge!

The Curious Cryogen White is a fabulous paper to go with your markers as the paper has a great sparkle!  It adds the perfect little touch to a project.

Please join us for our Green challenge!

Hi everyone, Melissa here, and welcome to our next challenge!

Please remember these are COPIC coloring challenges so you must use your Copics 🙂

The Challenge: Yellow Green Family
Yellow Greens!  These Copic colors are often overlooked but what better colors are there than these fabulous SPRINGY colors in the YG family!? Pull out your YG Copics and color something for your next project!

To join this week’s challenge just add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, April 1st at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week’s prize. The winner and top 3 picks be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening!  We will also announce our weekly commenting winner too (chosen at random from all the comments left on the blog this week, so be sure to leave us some love)!

We’re adding a NEW RULE, because we want our challenges to be for iCopic customers and loyal fans . All challenge projects must be newly created JUST for the iCopic Challenge (if your post title or first couple of sentences is promoting a different challenge, then your project probably wasn’t created just for us!). You may enter your project into additional challenges, but excessive challenge pile-ons (more than 7-8 additional challenges) will be removed and not eligible for our prize or top 3.

This week’s prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

For the inspiration card today, I created this fun simple card using the NEW pre-order stamp set Hey There Kaylee from Some Odd Girl.

The set includes many fun stamps but I chose to showcase the YG’s with the little turtle that comes in the set.

The image was stamped with Memento Ink on X-Press It blending paper.   The following Copics were used for the entire card.  YG11, YG13, YG17, YG63, YG67, YG93, YG95, YG97, W1, W3, W5, W7 and R20, R22

If you don’t have any YG Copics you can check them out right HERE!  I also added some beautiful  Twine that’s also available at iCopic!

Now, it is your turn! Show us what you can do with the YG Family Copics. Add a direct link to your project below:

To join this week’s challenge just add a direct link to your challenge project below. Projects are due on Sunday, March 25th at noon PST. A winner will be chosen at random to receive this week’s prize. The winner and top 3 picks be showcased right here on the iCopic blog Sunday evening!  We will also announce our weekly commenting winner too (chosen at random from all the comments left on the blog this week, so be sure to leave us some love)!

This week’s prize is a special $15 gift voucher!

Now for some inspiration, I created some flower cards for you….and a bonus technique tip!  How about using your Copic markers to color glitter?!

For these cards I stamped my image and then ran it through the Xyron machine face down.  Burnish the adhesive to your image, carefully remove the liner and add some microfine glitter to your image.
Burnish the glitter into your image with your finger.

Then, it’s coloring as usual!  The effect is beautiful in real life!  Image is by Stampavie’s A Stamp of Friendship.  Copic markers: E43, E42, BV04, BV02, V01, YG63, YG61.

Now add your Copic flower creation below:
