Some Bunny

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi everyone 🙂 It’s Valerie here today, and what’s more wonderful than a Baby Shower in the Springtime?! Today I have a Baby Shower card – yay!

I’m using these Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, and paper (Lawn Fawn ink is listed later) on this sweet card today:

Lawn Fawn, Copics {ValByDesign, 2015}

All the black lined images are stamped with my new Lawn Fawndamentals Premium Dye Ink Pad – Black Licorice; OMG, the images stamp beautifully (so dark and clean & crisp), and works AMAZINGLY WELL when I colored with my Copics!  They are stamped on X-Press It Blending Card Paper

The cattails are stamped with Lawn Fawdamentals Walnut ink; the reed grass is stamped with Lawn Fawndamentals Freshly Cut Grass ink, and the raindrops are stamped wth Lawn Fawndamentals Mermaid ink. Wow, this ink is wonderful!

For the background sky, I rubbed my Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Pad on my craft sheet, spritzed it with water from my Mini Mister, and rubbed my Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock in it.

The raindrops have Clear Zig Wink of Stella painted on them for some glistening prettiness, and a topping of Glossy Accents.

My adhesive is always the Crafter’s Companion tape runner.

Have a great rest of your week, happy crafting, and HAPPY APRIL 1!!

Written by Valerie Ward. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Valerie here today, and today the products of choice are Lawn Fawn!

I was thrilled to have to make this card this week because my little cousin, Amy, and her hubby, Phil, just had their first baby!

I’m using 3 Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Plus One, Critters Ever After, and Into the Woods. I also used one Lawn Fawn die set: Stitched Journaling Card.

This card is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. The images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, onto X-Press It Blending Card Paper.

The carriage and sentiment are stamped from the Plus One stamp set and colored with Copic Sketch markers. The small images on the blue background paper are heat embossed with a clear embossing powder using images from Critters Ever After and Into the Woods.

The stars along the vertical sides of the front panel are diecut from the row of stars die in the Stitched Journaling Card die set. Cr

The ribbon is Craftkin Baker’s Twine – Lemonade; I wrapped it 3 times, created a bow with 3 pieces of the twine, and attached with  a glue dot.
