I can’t believe it’s time to announce our new design team! All the applicants just absolutely amazed us with all their different talents. This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, because we wanted ALL of you on our team!

All right, let’s get right to it and announce our new design team, and see a little peek into their wonderful talents! Our 4 new designers are…

Keeway Tsao (Designer)

Hello! I’m Keeway and I’m so excited to be joining the MarkerPop design team! I live in sunny California. I love all things fine arts from classical music to pop culture art, and grew up immersed in it. I did not discover cardmaking until late 2015, but I have been crafting every single day since and love every moment of it. It has been an amazing journey and I’m happy to be sharing it with you. Thank you for having me and look forward to many wonderful, new friendships. Cheers!

Nicki Scheck (Designer)

I’ve been stamping and making cards since 2001. It’s hands down my favorite hobby. I love the fact that I can be creative and “escape” from the craziness of everyday life. Making cards is one of the most relaxing things for me, and it’s very rewarding to come up with a beautiful creation after starting out with a blank piece of card stock! I am inspired by other designers, and love seeing what my favorites are up to on their blogs, Instagram, and Pinterest. I’m so excited to be a part of the MarkerPOP team! I hope I can inspire many of you during my time here!

Clare Prezzia (Designer)

My name is Clare, and I’m a pretty silly Catholic lady with awesome parents, eight nutty siblings, two practically perfect in-laws, one adorable nephew and two nieces. Family is a BIG part of my life – it’s actually really hard for me to talk to new people without 89.43% of the conversation on my part being about my family’s crazy exploits. I just graduated college, and when I’m not working full-time as a graphic designer, I’m making cards, procrastinating, baking delectable morsels of deliciousness, playing the ol’ geetar, or bumming around with a few of my siblings. I’m so excited to be a part of MarkerPop! and I look forward to joining you every week for challenges!

Jessica Frost (Designer)

Hello!  I’m Jess and I am so honored and excited to join the Marker Pop design team!  I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my incredibly supportive husband, two shelties, a tortoiseshell cat, and a senior bunny.  I am a professional musician by day and a papercrafter by night (or really early morning)!  I enjoy creating cards for my friends and family and I can often be found coloring a couple images or embossing a sentiment in-between lessons and gigs!  I love experimenting with new techniques and mediums and I usually can’t resist adding a little extra sparkle to all of my cards and projects!!  You can find me blogging over at All the Sparkle and sharing video tutorials at my Youtube channel.  I really love the encouraging and supportive papercrafting community and I look forward to making new friends here at Marker Pop!

Hi, my name is Annette Allen and I am so excited to be a designer for MarkerPop. I live in Colorado and am a stay at home wife who loves the Lord. I have been crafting since 1997 and I do not just make cards but also enjoy sewing, scrapbooking and various other crafts. I think if it involves glue and getting messy you could say that I love it. I have been married for almost 20 years. My passion is crafting and I love being inspired and also inspiring others. Thank you for having me and I look forward to the many new friendships. Monica (3D Projects)

My name is Monica Edwards and I am the mother of 2 older children.  My son Andre is 24 and daughter Mariah is 20.  I currently work at the Kennedy Space Center and love it.  I have been crafting since I can remember.  I enjoy anything that has do with crafts.  I consider myself to be an all around crafter.  I love doing altered art pieces hence that is how I came up with Scraps2treasure because to me nothing is truly scraps.  I love to do  vintage, whimsy, fun and bright, mixed media.  My ultimate goal is to inspire others to create and to encourage to love the companies I represent through my work.  So my main goal here with Marker Pop is to inspire everyone to become a Marker Pop fan as well!!  What’s not to love they have it all.

We live just north of Chicago, Illinois, in the good ole U.S.of A! I’ve been scrapping since I was a child, and I discovered cardmaking 6 years ago when I started my job at a craft store, which changed my entire focus of crafting! I’m also a substitute teacher, and when I’m not busy working or being swallowed up by my family, you can always find me in my craft room enjoying the glorious world of creativity! I’ve been blogging since January, 2012, and it has turned into such a great journey for me, as I’ve met amazing people and made so many wonderful new friends!

Laura (Cards) 

Hey there!  My name is Laura Corkill.  I am forty-something years young and have lived in AZ for 18 years now (originally from Wisconsin).  I have 4 amazing children and 8 adorable grandchildren who are also so amazing and my pride and joy.  I have 2 dogs and 3 chickens.  My husband and I own our own auto painting business and so when I’m not crafting at home, I take my project to the office with me and color between phone calls and book keeping.  I’ve been a crafter forever, a paper crafter since 1999 and a blogger since March of 2012.  I don’t know that I have a crafting style as I just go with whatever strikes my fancy at that particular moment.  I love to try new techniques and mediums to embellish my projects but when it comes right down to it, for me its all about the markers and dies. 

Carisa (Colorist) 

I’m Carisa, and I’m blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart and mama to our 4 awesome kiddos; you’ll find me stealing tiny moments to myself in the craft room whenever I can. I first started coloring with Copic markers in 2009. I love seeing a black and white stamped image come to life as I color. In 2014, I ventured into water color and I love the freedom it has given me to let go of perfection and embrace my own style! I also enjoy mixed media and art journaling which pushes me outside the box to try new techniques. However, making cards and coloring stamped images will always be my first love! I am thrilled to be sharing the joy of coloring with all of you as part of the MarkerPop! team.

Marie here and I am a card making, Copic coloring fool! I love everything about it and try every new technique I can find. Whenever I have some time available, I can be found in my craft room searching the web for new techniques! I currently serve on six Design Teams and love every minute of it! I have discovered that the world of crafters is one of the most supportive, fun and delightful group of men and women I have ever met. I am proud to call them “friends”. I also work as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department as a Patient Care Coordinator. I live in California near the beautiful Sierra Foothills. I love to read mystery books, work with the art of paper quilling and listen to music. I love animals and am the proud mother of two fur babies and 3 feather babies. I absolutely love spending time with my wonderful and supportive family and friends.

Hi, everyone!  I have been on the MarkerPOP! team for awhile now and the design team leader for the past year.  I’m very excited to share that I’ll be staying on board as the DT leader.  I absolutely love MarkerPOP! and couldn’t be more thrilled!

I thought I’d share a little about myself for any newcomers!

My name is Kelli and I live in sunny Florida with my supportive husband, adorable pup and two lizards. We got married at the end of April 2012 and moved into our new home the day after. It has been such a big change, but an exciting one!

I have been into crafting for quite awhile but nothing extremely serious until about early 2009 when I discovered the world of card making. I wanted to learn anything and everything there was to know and try out as many new products as I could. I suppose you could say I’m completely obsessed now, haha!

Before joining the MP team when I was just getting into Copics, I knew that I was hooked.  Who doesn’t love any excuse to color as an adult?  I loved coloring as a child and nothing has changed!  You can bring an image to life and choose basically any color you want!

I know this term is going to be awesome and I can’t wait to see what everyone will create!  🙂
