Hi everyone!  My name is Angie Ha, although some people have taken to calling me AHa which led to A*Ha Creations.  I’m super excited to be guest designing for MarkerPop for the month of April!  I’m from Lancaster, PA… Amish country.  I’m married to a wonderful, enabling husband for almost 8 years now and it’s probably his fault that I got so into all of the crafty stuff (he said I needed a hobby!) which led to my favorite addition – COPICS!  I just can’t seem to stop coloring!  I picked one up about two years ago, and just can’t get enough.

When I saw the Springtime Garden stamp from My Favorite Things, I  knew I had to color her up to usher in the spring weather – which can’t get here soon enough!  I stamped her out a few times and got to coloring.  I did up a few different versions, so I have TWO projects to share with you today.

The first project is a little tag:

I found the clear acrylic tag in my stash and splashed on some Copic Various Ink in BG49, B02, and V09.  The butterflies were also found in my stash and I airbrushed them with the same colors.

For project number two, I stuck with a card:

When I colored her up, I knew I had to pair her with Lawn Fawn’s Bright Side Paper. And I couldn’t just color her skirt, I had to do a little layering 😉  I love how it adds a little more natural shadow with just a little foam adhesive!

Instead of fussy cutting the image for the card, I decided to keep it a rectangle to be layered on the card so I knew I had to ground her somehow.  Usually, I stick with Cs to ground, but she had to be standing in grass.

I know Easter is over, but I couldn’t resist putting this up since I waas swamped this weekend and didn’t get a chance to post it on my regular blog.  But.. I have to say… Magnolia images are to cute to now use no matter if you’re late OR early with a holiday!!  My sweet image is Ballerina Bunny Tilda.  Isn’t she adorable???

I used a silver card stock  from my stash that I ran across and couldn’t resist.   I LOVE how it shimmered with the bling and the glittered tulle I added to the card.  Of course I stamped my Magnolia bunny on the Cryogen White prior to coloring with my Copics.

For my sentiment, I stamped it onto some Xcut Happy Days Ticket Stubs which I stacked a few different ones together to create a bit more dimension to my card.  On the side of it and on my flower middle I added some of my FAVORITE bling from MarkerPOP!, Pebbles Candy Dots Crystals Faceted Gems, Peony.  LOVE LOVE these!!!  You have to go check them out as they come in so many different colors.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter.  We were certainly busy and saw lots of family like always on holidays!  Sometimes it’s not a BAD thing. LOL

Good morning! Tracy here for 3-D thursday. My baby girl is not so much of a baby anymore. Gone are the princesses in her room so I thought I would make her a new trinket box to keep her hair ties in or whatever she wants to keep in it.

I used a stamp from the new Doodle Garden line from My Favorite Things. This one is called “FAR OUT“.

I used a cheap wood box that you can find at a craft store. I then used my Mister Huey’s color mist  (water cooler)to color the box. I just sprayed it on and used a paper towel to rub it in.  A little goes a long way.

I used copic markers for the coloring of the image and did some shading with prisma color pencils. Love that effect.

Good morning! Tracy here today. It’s freebie week, I know you are just dying to hear more about me and my travels….but today I am going to share with you an Easter Card I made. It’s too cute not to share! 🙂

It’s no secret that I have a thing for the Uptown girls from Stamping Bella….for real! They are just too cute with their long, skinny legs. With each release I get totally excited because they keep getting cuter and cuter.

I used Bunny with her Daffodil today along with paper from Simple Stories – Fabulous collection.

Do you have any plans for Easter? My hubby will be away this year, he is so bummed. So my sister and I are planning a big egg hunt for the kids and then dinner afterwards.  I can’t wait!  They are getting older, but it’s still fun.
