Happy Haunting

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  It’s Kelli and today I have a Halloween card to share with you that uses the adorable C.C. Designs – Vampy Hansel stamp.  I feel like this is a Halloween must-have.

I stamped him in Memento – Tuxedo Black Ink and colored him with Copics:
hair- E19, E17, E15, E13
skin- E53, E51, E50 (I wanted to keep the skin light like a vampire.)
cape- C9, C7, C5, R29, R27, R24, R22
shirt- C1, N0, 0
pants- C9, C7, C5
shoes- C7, C5, C3, C1

The two little dots on either side of the sentiment are from the My Mind’s Eye – Winter Wonderland Enamel Dots pack.  Even though they are meant to go with the Christmas line, this color worked perfectly for this project!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂

Merry Christmas Princess Card

Written by Samantha Peyton. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi everyone! Samantha here, & I’ve got a project for you using a new stamp I just got from the MarkerPop store! Don’t you love getting new stampy goodness?!  What is on your wish list from MarkerPop?

I picked out this adorable Crafter’s Companion stamp from the SWALK collection. This pretty princess comes from the Belle of the Ball stamp set. She is just too cute!

I used the following Copic colors to make the dress match the papers I had picked out:
For the dress: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78, R89, R59
For the hair: E31, E33, E37
For the skin: E00, E21, E93, E95

The patterned papers  I used are from the new All is Bright paper pad from My Mind’s Eye.

I used a cute little label shape behind my stamped image to frame it on the card.

To finish off the card, I just added a sweet little Christmas sentiment.

Fun in the Sun

Written by Tracy Valure. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects), Uncategorized

Good morning, Tracy here today with a quick card to share with you on this beautiful Saturday morning! I hope everybody summer was well. It went by so quickly and I can’t believe that the kids have went back to school or getting ready to go back to school.

This card is basically my “farewell” to summer card. Luckily I live in Sunny Florida so I will still have another couple of months of Fun in the Sun. I know for most of you the summer is defnitely coming to an end though.

For my card today I used Summer Mae by Some Odd Girl. She is colored with Copic markers. I added some B00 and B000 all around her, I wanted her to pop and be vibrant because she is definitely having fun in the sun.  I used a Fishtail and Tab Die from My Favorite Things . The designer paper is from Lily Bee Designs.

Skin- E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair- E21, E25, E29, E51, E53
Clothes-YR00, YR02, YR12, YR14, YR18

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Tracy Valure

Fun and Simple Note Cards

Written by Kelli Cortes. Posted in Eye Candy (Projects)

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a cute note card set using the Lawn Fawn – Critters Ever After stamp set.  I stamped the two images in Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics:

Unicorn-
mane and tail: R24, YR16, Y35, G02, B24, V15
hooves and horn: RV29, RV25, RV23, R20
body: C3, C1, 0

Frog-
body: G07, G05, G02, spots G28
crown: Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11, YR16

This is not really on topic, but something funny just happened.  When I was writing that out, I didn’t know what to call the unicorn’s spike/horn.  I asked my husband, who didn’t know or care, I’m sure both.  Then I started cracking up at the thought of it being called a corn….uni-corn.  Lol!  So silly, but it made me laugh!

Back to the cards!  Whenever I make something with Lawn Fawn stamps I always seem to want to make something really clean on white card stock.  I feel like their images are perfect for that.  The rainbow colors on the unicorn won’t blend perfectly because they are just too different and I think that is perfectly ok!
To finish them off I added some Plush Blush twine to the unicorn card and some Sun Kissed twine to the frog.  The price is awesome for the little 20 yard spools by the way!  I also added some Stickles to the corn (*wink*) and hooves of the unicorn and crown of the frog.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  🙂
