Smile
Yay, it’s Friday!!! Who’s ready for the weekend? Before I get to my project today I wanted to remind you about the Fall Video Challenge we have going on… You can click the banner below for more details. There are 3 Gift cards up for grabs to the store !! If you don’t do videos that’s okay you can submit a Photo Tutorial as well for a chance to Win.. Head over and check out the details!
I’m using some Fun new products from My Favorite Things today for a Birthday card sure to make the recipient SMILE!
I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth paper and I added die cut the panel with the MFT Blueprints #27. Then I added some Mustard Seed Distress ink to the Background. I smooshed the pad onto my craft mat and spritzed the ink with some water. Then I smooshed the paper into the ink until I had the coverage I wanted. I heat set the panel with a heat tool and then I added a few splatters of water and picked up the excess with a paper towel.
Then I die cut Smile from the center of the Panel using the Double the Smiles Die-namic from MFT. I adhered some washi tape behind the panel and then I die cut Smile three more times from some Black Licorice cardstock. I inlaid the Black die cut Smile and then added a second and third layer as well. The card base is Neenah Solar White 110 lb cut to A2 Size, then I added some Fun Foam to the back of the panel and adhered it to the card front and set it aside.
I stamped a sentiment from the coordinating All Smiles stamp set from MFT and used the Essential Fishtail Sentiments Strips Die-namics to cut it out. Then I adhered it under SMILE on the front of the card with some foam adhesive. I stamped the little bears from the Adorable Bitty Bears set from MFT onto some Bristol Smooth as well and I colored them in with Distress Ink Markers and a Nuvo Aqua Brush.
Distress Markers used: Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone, Festive Berries and Mustard Seed.
I used the coordinating die-namics to cut the images out and I adhered them to the card with Foam tape. These little bears are a must have, they coordinate well with any word set and they are perfect for all occasions.
Thanks for stopping by today!!!
