Happy Friday everyone.. it’s Holly here today. Can you believe it’s September 1st already? Where has this year gone? Today I have a fun card for you featuring the Adorable Gardening Birds set from Your Next Stamp.

I started with a Sketch from the Your Next Stamp blog and I created a Kraft Colored card base and added a piece of the Your Next Stamp Summer Plaid 6×6 Paper that I die cut with the YNS Stitched Square Dies. I adhered the piece with some tape runner and then I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth paper with the YNS Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added some color to create a background with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then I stamped the sentiment along the top with some VersaFine Black ink.

I adhered the panel to the card front with some foam tape. I stamped the images onto some additional Bristol paper using Ranger Archival Black ink and colored them in with the Zigs. I used the Nuvo Waterbrush set to move the color around. Once the images were dry I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhered them to the card with some foam tape. For some sparkle, I added some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen to parts of the images. I added some Coral Reef Sparkle Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp as well. I think this color is retired but you can find lots of Gumdrops from YNS in the store here. 

I used the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers:

260 Deep Red, 80 Violet, 31 Colbalt Blue, 72 Beige, 21 Light Carmine, 65 Mid Brown, 41 Light Green, 50 Yellow, 52, Bright Yellow, 47 May Green, 36 LIght Blue, 40 Green & 44 Deep Green.
