Happy 4th of July!!!
Happy 4th of July everyone! It’s Holly here today and I hope you are enjoying your Holiday!! Today I have a Fun card featuring products from Ranger and Tim Holtz.
I got my fingers a little inky for this project. I started with a piece of Tim Holtz Distress watercolor paper and I used the Rays Stencil first with some Candied Apple Distress ink. Then I added some Splatters using the Splatters Stencil in Blueprint Sketch ink. Once the panel was dried I added some water splatters and removed the excess water with a paper towel, then using the spritzer bottle I added some more water moving some of the color around. I heat set everything again and added some White Picket Fence Distress Paint with a paintbrush creating splatters.
Once the panel was dry I added some Vintage Photo Distress Ink all around the edges and up into the center of the design keeping the outer edges Dark. Then I stamped the Happy 4th of July from the Crazy Birds sentiment set using some VersaFine Black ink. I adhered the panel to a A2 size card base.
The Bird (Crazy Birds), Flag and Hat (Crazy Things)were stamped onto some more Distress watercolor paper using Ranger Archival Ink in Black. I colored the images in with Distress Markers in the following colors: Tea Dyed, Faded Jeans, Rusty Hinge, Abandoned Coral, Black Soot and Blueprint Sketch. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out and adhered them to the center of the card with foam tape.
Have a Safe and Happy 4th!!!
